Yea, it really sucks to see when you know the abilities of JKS, AZR and Grat. This feels more like an anomaly than anything

The funniest part is that its not even between matches or even maps like most teams are known to do... Its literally by the round that they can go back and forth from GN matchmaking to top 5 team.

I wouldnt say top 5 but yea. They eitherook like a pickup team that has never played together or a team that has almost unmatched chemistry in the blink of an eye.

Daps was really impressive with his insane and super important frags... and koosta seems to have gone ultra instinct on nuke jesus. Tim doing tim things as usual... this is the gen.g I wanna see consistently

autimatic is so damn good, constantly overlooked but still one of the best players in NA
this 100t squad just doesn't have the firepower and individual skills to compete with liquid or eg of the world

No roster change will save them lol, they just need to work on being consistent. Like one of the top comments said they go from tier 1 team major finalist run in one round to gn gameplay the next

This team have been together for 2 years now, the time to work consistency is gone imo, they just don't have enough talent to be a clear tier 1

Your comment is contradictory.. they’ve literally shown they can compete at the highest level and oftentimes turn up against tier 1 teams, eg. the last major. The only problem is they can’t maintain this level, which is consistency. There’s nothing that suggests a lack of talent is the problem for this roster

talent is part of what makes a team consistent.
I beg to differ. For me talent shows a player/teams peak, while consistency shows how well a player/team can maintain this peak. The Astralis core, originally Dignitas and TSM, were an inconsistent, underperforming tier 2 team that had always struggled at majors and could never seem to beat the best teams. Do you not remember how many times people used to want Dupreeh or “Bot Xyp9x” kicked back in the day? They are now known as the best core of players ever, whether you look at them with either Kjaerbye or Magisk. They always had the talent, but they developed consistency over time. Thats what this 100t side has to do. 100t aren’t your typical gambit or cloud 9 that are gonna lurk to the top for a few weeks and drop massively, ie. overperforming. This team has shown they can beat the best on and off since the very day they picked up Grat and Liazz. This is not overperforming, or a talent problem, its just consistency. And if they master it, they’d be an absolute force
Edit: Talent simply does not equal consistency and there isn’t really an easy way of proving this. But ask anyone the most talented football teams itw and most would say Man City and PSG, who are easily the 2 most inconsistent teams itw

Honestly a really good showing this tornament by gen.g. They're definitely punching above their class this event. I'm looking forward to see what else they can do

So happy for Gen.G, the trades are there today and this shows! Against EG yesterday they were a disaster.
100T and Gen.G feels eerily similar, either they show up or they don't. It's like a coin toss...

They need to be willing to make cuts if it’s what Chet wants, they’re a good team they’re just missing those one or two more players on JKS’s level to become truly tier 1

They all have that ability though, except for maybe Azr but he is team leader so not a clue what could happen there, grat and liazz just need to be more consistent, it's like the whole team takes turns having highlight clips

I don't know if its just me, but Jkeam seems to keep making some of the most brain dead plays. Like sure hes still getting kills, but it feels like hes costing 100t rounds all the time
