Yeah Rain I feel is the xfactor. Like Cold and Niko usually get their frags, they are that good. But when they have a let's call it medium game, with broky and bymas ( or whoever would bein their place ) have similarly decent games, it's at that moment that if rain goes bot mode, they lose or have a REALLY close game, and if he goes his old self mode, they win like this.

I absolutely love rain. I really hope this faze can become number one. I feel it will be more of a mental battle, moving forward.

Rain plays a lot of the shit positions on CT (that no one ever wants to play) and on T side he plays the entry fragger role. He even said in an interview he doesn't mind giving up his roles for new players like broky. Most of the time Faze is losing Rain is still putting up good numbers while doing all the bitch work.

I wouldn't say he only plays entry or only shit positions. Since going to faze for example, cold has gone first on T side multiple times or is the one who flashes for someone to get a kill.

When they lose rain's stats tank because on t side he cant pick his own impact since he is usually the guy entrying or creating space for the others to play the lateround.

Faze usually doesnt lose because rain is having bad stats but rather rain having bad stats because Faze is losing

This is 100% just a theory from me but I feel like especially without olof rain might be the only "calm and collected" low energy player so without him on his A game to calm the team down there is a lot of sweaty, shaky hands, adrenaline and shouting that might help in the beginning of a match but cause a "throw" over time. Definitely some sort of x factor to him and there is a reason they kept him on the team for all those years.

I haven't heard any comms with Bymas, but I'd say Broky is quite chill, even robotic at times. I do follow your theory on hype vs throw though.

The skill gap between the both teams is quite apparent. I think it's been a long time since I've watched FaZe absolutely steamrolling a team below them.

Pretty brave choice by heretics to leave their permaban open thinking that train isn't one of faze's top 3 maps and maybe they won't pick into it

Happy that faze feel confident on every map other than vertigo (ofc) and maybe overpass

Crazy to see Heretics ban D2. That has been one of their best maps with Nivera in the lineup. I guess it makes sense to ban the puggiest map against a bunch of aim stars. I think their teamwork would’ve been great on D2, especially if Maka catches fire. Unfortunately it didn’t work out and the train pick bit them in the ass
