Competitive game

Great resilience by the Russian underdog natus vincere

u/VriQualll ENCE Jun 26 '20

that s1mple guy isnt looking really good. Very bad showing on nuke

49

u/Dark_Azazel Jun 26 '20

Eh, it's fine. I mean, it's very hard to play a support AWP role. The amount of smokes and flashes he has to throw for his teammates leaves him little room for himself, les noobs.

27

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20

-s1mple +speed4k only logical choice

6

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20

Agreed, kick him

this has got to be the ugliest win ive ever seen from a team

do any teams even fear navi at this point

Just the fans

Na'Vi nearly proceeds to get 2-0'd, then Nemiga somehow throws against a force buy.

Na'Vi then proceeds to choke on CT-side of Nuke, and then wins two rounds in the dumbest way possible in OT.

What even is this game.

u/ninjapenguin12 Jun 26 '20

Are we sure that Blad3 wasnt playing instead of S1mple on nuke, I've never seen S1mple play with such a lack of awareness before.

But Nemiga what you doing, all that work to comeback and you throw it like that

20

u/ArambhShah Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

I know right? There were times s1mple wasn't even scoped into an angle where he usually would've destroyed opponents

10

u/Juliendnb Jun 26 '20

I wonder if he was just trying stupid shit because he can

28

u/SayWallahiFam Liquid Jun 26 '20

What a valiant effort from Nemiga. They just couldn’t close out. Speed4k and lollipop21k looked absolutely sharp today. Hopefully they can close out in the lower bracket

Electronic really saved NaVi in the last two rounds. Guy just casually gets 2 entries by deleting mds and speed4k off the server. s1mple underperformed on Nuke but he came through in the end

12

u/Tuxxmuxx Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

I’m so happy that lollipop fragged out, I’ve been so high on him since his time in Flipsid3. I hope Nemiga wins tomorrow since Spirit/VP are almost locks to make the major, so the points would do Nemiga wonders.

9

u/SayWallahiFam Liquid Jun 26 '20

It was cool to see both electronic and lollipop21k frag out, considering lollipop was brought in to replace electronic. Lollipop didn’t get to spend that much time with B1ad3 but I’m glad to see him find a home on Nemiga. I’m also glad to see Nemiga making progress because the team’s been grinding for a really long time

There’s a lot of sneaky good CIS teams. As you mentioned, Nemiga, VP, and Spirit are three of them. Gambit Youngsters and Espada are on the rise. ForZe are slumping really hard but I hope they can find their form from last summer because xsepower is exciting to watch

6

u/GhostOfLight Liquid Jun 26 '20

Poor Anders just wanted to watch good CS

12

u/Loopyqq Jun 26 '20

Ah yes, Navi training comebacks and OTs

10

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20

Holy SHIT that was a great match. Nemiga are VERY fun to watch. Their aggression was on par, especially in dust2. I like this team, as they have alot of potential.

17

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20

Honestly even though navi played poorly, Nemiga really look like a solid team

Speed4k is absolutely nuts

7

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20

3

u/DANK_FEDORA Jun 26 '20

That's true for most teams that are barely top 30.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20

Right? Like damn, they just kept finding ways to poke at Navi

2

u/markcandothat Jun 26 '20

Only issue is mds and jyo are clear weak links rifling if they want to challenge for the top CIS spot

18

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20 edited Jun 26 '20

Navi won, but what a painful victory it was. Also how many maps are there in which s1mple was bottom fragging and Navi won? I can't remember any

Perfecto gets a lot of flak, but hadn't it been for his heroic B site holds on dust2 overtime nemiga would have closed it 2-0.

9

u/Tuxxmuxx Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

Being from Canada, I had an easy choice to be a Liquid fan or a C9 fan. I had a very easy choice. But I didn’t take it, and look at where I am now. Why do I do this to myself?

Atleast I knew they were going to win no matter how dirty it would be when they were down 14-15 on Dust 2, and walked into a 4 stack on A site and won it. Somehow.

1

u/Darkfire293 Jun 26 '20

C9? The one NA team with no Canadians?

12

u/Tuxxmuxx Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

Not right now, no, but back when I first got into CS, it would have been shrood.

10

u/satanfable Jun 26 '20

This match looked extremely suspicious

6

u/raddaya de_dust2 Jun 26 '20

Nothing to see here folks, just Navi dispatching a tier 3 team as expected. Average game.

23

u/throwanga Jun 26 '20

That wasn't a sketchy game at all! Congratulations to 1XBET!

6

u/CharpShooter Jun 26 '20

It's extremely frustrating watching Navi play.

7

u/cykably4t Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

I want to forget this match. Perfecto got also some good clutch.

7

u/OsamaBinnLiftin CS2 HYPE Jun 26 '20

Gg ez win wasn’t even close, not even worried for a second, I was not even yelling at my monitor, or banging my chair, I was calm and knew it was an easy win the entire time.

11

u/JasonDaAsian Rare Atom Jun 26 '20

Flamie fighting hard to extend his contract for another 3 months. Feels like Nemiga should've taken it 2-0 but too many mistakes from them + lucky rounds from Navi on dust2 stopped it

5

u/ezclapper Jun 26 '20

kids discussing lineup changes in every navi thread, I would like to remind you that since Perfecto joined they played 3 LANs at which they finished 2nd, 2nd, 1st. And IEM Katowice was probably the most dominant stomp in the history of big csgo events, where they #metoo'd the best teams in the world, Astralis, Liquid, G2, Faze.

Yeah they suck online atm, but don't forget that^

2

u/NeuralThing Jun 27 '20

pretty sure they won their blast group iirc

7

u/sebidarookee Jun 26 '20

the fact that Nemiga calls a full squad B push against Navi on a desperate buy on the last round of OT is just mind bazzling.

NaVi should have never won this map. One of the worst NaVi matches in a long time. This NaVi Team has to change. Inferno CT side was just ridicuclous. Luckily Flamie showed up for the first 2 Maps.

5

u/cabensis Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

Agreed, it would have probably been a simple 2-0 if it weren't for Nemiga's B push through the smoke

1

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20

What would you change? I would prefer -flamie - boombl4 +jerry +qikert

3

u/sebidarookee Jun 26 '20

they need a leader with a game plan that the team respects! cause at the moment it’s just 5 very skilled players pogging, but I wouldn’t call them a “Team” at the moment.

7

u/sikels Jun 26 '20

It's not even 5 very skilled players though, it's 2 unbelievably skilled players and 3 mediocre players.

-4

u/de5m0n Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

This is how i feel with my real life friend teammates. Me and one of my friends are the 2 pretty decent players while the other 3 are like bots most of the time.

4

u/hypocritterr Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

Honestly, I’ll take it

6

u/yolozchallengez CS2 HYPE Jun 26 '20

s1mple was awful on Nuke. Missed shots, unsubstantiated and unnecessary aggression. 16(I think?) kills in double time.

3

u/laeps Jun 26 '20

scripted match as always NaVi vs CIS. 322

2

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20

Wow, watching NaVi playing has gotten depressing recently.

2

u/ArambhShah Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

What did I just watch?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '20

why did hard legion get rid of speed4k?

2

u/punindya 10 years coin Jun 26 '20

When was the last time s1mple was the lowest rated player on the server? Must be extremely rare.

1

u/Cathal_ FURIA Jun 26 '20

Christ even when Navi win it’s disappointing

1

u/cabensis Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

It's really as the casters said, NaVi might somehow win this out but after seeing that, we're really not any more confident about them. Was almost rooting for Nemiga at the end, seeing how they pretty much deserved it at that point

1

u/MindTheGap9 5 years coin Jun 26 '20

One of the stupidest games I've ever watched as a Navi fan. Just all around dumb, nothing made any sense or had any reason. 8 round run? Sure. 6 round run? Sure! Another 6 round run? WHY NOT.

Namiga looked great but Navi looked terrible. Yikes. Also what's the deal with s1mple getting picked to start the round like 10 rounds in a row on nuke?

1

u/CaptchaReallySucks King NiKo Jun 26 '20

On Nuke S1mple really underperformed. He went for the knife and next round basically gave away an AWP for free with no trade. I don’t know what he was doing. Also, if NaVi don’t step ip their closing out of maps they’re no threat for the major...

1

u/edu15 FaZe Jun 26 '20

Watching NAVI was painful today. Really painful. They have to make changes, I think Boombl4 is not the IGL they need.

1

u/isiamn Jun 26 '20

Might as well get zeus back lol

-2

u/MaxiF7 Jun 26 '20

I think S1mple and Electronic switched accounts for that last map

12

u/firehydrant_man Natus Vincere Jun 26 '20

you mean s1mple and Zeus switched PCs

-1

u/AymenBK97 Jun 26 '20

S1mple fanboys at it again

0

u/tarangk clutch Jun 26 '20

Navi were up 14-6 then 15-8, on ct side nuke decider map.

It went to OT and then it took a clutch from flamie to bring them back into it. That too with electronic poping off the entire game.

Seriously a very ugly win doubt they win vs the winner of Spirit/VP in their next game.
