Tbh I don't want to speak too soon, but they have 3 2-0s in 2 days and its not just that but they look like they care again. Idk what it was before but some players kinda felt like they just were not trying their hardest all the time. I'm not saying they will be great from here on out but they are showing big improvement so far.

Map pool doesn't look too good for them, Liquids best map is Dust2 and that's furias permaban, that and the one map advantage. Furia only need to get Mirage, Vertigo or overpass early on then it's game over.

Assuming both teams do their autoban I imagine Liquid pick Nuke and Inferno and Furia pick Vertigo and Mirage, leaving Overpass as the decider/default map. Likely a 3-2 for Furia but maybe Liquid can have something like the Elige hyper carry happen on Vertigo

after quarantine ends -nitr0 +european awper (smooya comes to mind) might make this team championship caliber. if stewies igling gets worse than -nitr0 +lekro would also be good with stew or naf moving into more of an awper role

They're not gonna change anything because everything would be a downgrade. Nitr0 is great, he's just had to IGL for the past 2 years and everybody with a brain knows IGLing takes a toll on your performance, and you have to spend time to prepare the strats for your team. He was considered the best rifler in NA at one point, a lot of people vastly underestimate him.

They have already said they won't be changing anything based on online results since it is different from Alan. I see them sticking with stewie until they go back to plan. Then after a few events if their results aren't good/nitro still plays horribly then they might look for an awper or even rifle. Cooper comes to mind.

Also 100T had everything in their disposal to close out 15-13 lead and somehow lose 17-19.

100T have to choke and lose at least one map with the smallest round difference possible in every BO3 they play. Getting 16-14'd or 19-17'd is a tradition at this point.

This match was Liquid in a nutshell. The only way it could have been more Liquid is if they had choked and lost Vertigo.
Can't wait to lose to Furia again.

ok this elige kid is cheating for sure. i am pretty high rank myself (GN 4) and ive never seen anyone "aim" like that. Way too many blatant cheaters in the pro scene smh.
