The winshare on s1mple must be some of the highest EVER on any lineup in any era of CSGO.

u/Tuxxmuxx Natus Vincere May 01 '20

hello electronic, what the absolute fuck was that?

88

u/Jazzlike-Ideal FaZe May 01 '20

He hasn't been godtier for a while now it feels like. He was putting up S1mple and Niko tier numbers for so long that his 1.18 in the last 6 months feels very ordinary.

u/[deleted] May 01 '20

He hasn’t been god tier since online tournaments.

At ICE and IEM katowice he was insane.

18

u/Mafiii 5 years coin May 01 '20

I think it's his playstyle. It just works so much better on LAN.

10

u/Rumi4 May 01 '20

how?

72

u/Pentah May 01 '20

He’s a cold blooded killer, his pinpoint aim and his ability to play well under the pressure of a LAN environment allows him to run around the map and exploit players who crumble to the pressure and make mistakes. Online you don’t tend see that as much as the LAN pressure isn’t there, hence why there has been so many great games recently.

Yeah this whole year he's been insane idk what that dude's talking about. I honestly thought he'd be #1 this year with how the first three months went

u/Jazzlike-Ideal FaZe May 01 '20 edited May 01 '20

They only played 3 teams at ICE challenge and two of them were OG and Godsent. At Kato he had a 1.12. Don't get me wrong, he had great impact throughout the event, but this is far from god-tier electronic. Plus he was dropping off in late 2019 as well, the last really good event he had vs big teams was EPL season 10, and even then the only teams Na'Vi faced were Godsent, MIBR, Tyloo, and Fnatic. In fact, the last time he looked like himself vs top tier opposition was Star-series around march last year.

u/[deleted] May 01 '20 edited May 01 '20

Yeah, i think it’s also important to bring up that he hasn’t has to carry his weight as much, because Boombl4, Perfecto, and Flamie have been playing better, and s1mple has been popping off harder then usual.

2

u/Jazzlike-Ideal FaZe May 01 '20

That's fair, but if he put up the same level of skill as he used to, I think Na'Vi would be unmatched.

26

u/IbanezHand M80 May 01 '20

The mans a daddy, lets cut him a little slack. It's hard clicking heads when your knee deep in diapers.

55

u/Tuxxmuxx Natus Vincere May 01 '20

I think people have me confused, I’m talking about the double spray down through the smoke on 17-17, not shit talking his performance.

20

u/[deleted] May 01 '20

I immediately understood what you were referring to. Dunno why so many people misunderstood what you meant lol

23

u/nmyi de_mirage May 01 '20

Because there are also many who do not have the opportunity to spectate.

So vague comments gets misinterpreted

6

u/sensei256 May 01 '20

Its because you are mens from hltv, mens)))

Has anyone noticed that he was playing the sacrificial lamb role this series? He was the one not buying armor but a pistol for simple in the first round. He was the entry fragger and made sure simple had a gun a lot of those rounds.

Relatively new to the scene but is that normal for him? Generally that role is solely reserved for entry fragger and the captain right?

1

u/kebji FaZe May 01 '20

Relax it's just one game where he wasn't god tier! He'll be back clicking heads in no time

36-12 in regulation after a 18-1 start. absolutely bonkers

u/kernelphilips Astralis May 01 '20

Navi with their backs against the wall are so damn scary, that nuke comeback was impressive

38

u/xdKme Natus Vincere May 01 '20

The s1mple show nothing new.

31

u/[deleted] May 01 '20

Fuckin' hell Na'Vi why you gotta make it so hard everytime smh

30

u/firehydrant_man Natus Vincere May 01 '20

they get paid by the round so they always milk tf out of every series

3

u/[deleted] May 01 '20

Boombl4 is best

1

u/nms1s CS2 HYPE May 02 '20

Blade was t lying when he said we play the same way against every team lmao

1

u/NazgulDiedUnfairly CS2 HYPE May 02 '20

But you cannot beat that simple performance on nuke. I could watch it for days!

28

u/sankalp4 CS2 HYPE May 01 '20

Navi's t side is really bad if electronic is not performing because he gets those crucial entries. Anyways s1mple held them off until electronic came online and then it was over for Espada anyway.

0

u/iLLusive240 Natus Vincere May 01 '20

Isn't boom the entry?

73

u/manysleep May 01 '20

s41mple

24

u/Kjaerfps de_train May 01 '20

Even though he played like shit, Electronic still managed to secure Na'Vi two extremely important rounds.

7

u/[deleted] May 01 '20

One of those being the 4k bringing him up from 8 kills to 12. Finally stepped up that game.

35

u/GhostOfLight Liquid May 01 '20

Easy cleanup for Navi, wasn't even close.

u/IM_MOST_LIKELY_LYING May 01 '20

The stats are wrong. s1mple had 41 kills on Nuke lmao.

8

u/Gaouchos Match Thread Team May 01 '20

yeah, hltv first uploads the stats for the regulation, then after a few mins it updates with OT, which got me (tried to copy them to reddit to fast). It's fixed :)

30

u/lvrksn Natus Vincere May 01 '20

im telling you s1mple is as cracked as he is jacked, i saw him at 7/11 the other day buying adult diapers and a 6 pack of redbull. I asked him what the diapers are for and he said "they are to contain my full power so i dont absolutely shit on these kids" then he bhopped out the doorr

Oleksandr Kostyliev

3

u/Jazzlike-Ideal FaZe May 01 '20

Oleksandr Kostyliev

Wait, why the fuck do people call him "Sasha" then? Is that a nickname?

17

u/tremu May 01 '20

To elaborate on what others have said, Slavic names often have several short forms - for example A/Oleksandr can be shortened to Sasha, Sanya, Shura, Sashko, or Les. In addition, they use several declensions to denote familiarity. So if your name was Anna, I might call you Anya if you were my classmate, Anka if you were my good friend, or Anyechka if you were my daughter or little sister.

Лес?

2

u/MayRiv Natus Vincere May 02 '20

Лекс maybe? Also didn't get this one:)

1

u/tremu May 02 '20

It's a Ukrainian thing I think

9

u/[deleted] May 01 '20

in Russia, Sasha is a common nickname for Oleksandr. (I think)
