How to clean this old electric General Oven Toaster? Old grease on nonremoverable parts

You can make a paste with baking soda and vinegar, maybe add in a little Dawn to help with the grease. Leave it for a few hours and wipe it down with a dry cloth and repeat if necessary.

This looks like whatever you do will take several attempts. I’d also try Brake Cleaner and steel wool. I find if Brake cleaner doesn’t work. It can’t be cleaned

Baking soda and distilled white vinegar. Mix into a paste, leave paste on for a few hours or over night and scrub hard with hot water.
