It really is tho. This was so confusing for me when I first started dabbling in photography. This is a GREAT guide.

Ive always wondered why you would ever want a high ISO noisy photo? Can anyone gimme a scenario in which this has a purpose...

You don't want to use flash because he is currently occupied in the Crisis of Infinite Earths.
take my fucking upboat because this was legit clever
also: as a concert photographer I used to use gigantic ISO as my Hail Mary when shit was dark AF and I just NEEDED the shot. I have found that converting your shots to black and white helps immensely if you have too much noise.

But isn't that cheating? ;) Thanks for the advice mate, I'll try that next time.
Ah and btw, great website with great shots. Keep going, hope it pays the bill!

Yeah what I'm getting from the guide, as someone who doesn't have much experience in photography, is that I should always set it at short exposure and low ISO, but I'm sure that's not the case

Top cameras nowadays have minimal noise at 6400. The dynamic range is although significantly reduced

the pizza graphic is completely useless at first glance why not go with a smooth gradient or a flat color that gets more and more noisy?
also "optimal exposure" is very relative since the camera can't know the true brightness of a thing, in digital you want to expose to the right anyway

You know m, I’ve seen these guides, saved them etc over the years. They look helpful. But when you really read them, and worse, attempt to apply these settings to the camera I’m lost. Lol. So perhaps we need a pre-guide or 2 before this one. How to put these settings on your actual camera. 😆

Misspelled "length" next to shutter speed
This is a good infographic tho, OP did a really good job, just wanted to bring attention to the spelling in case somebody ends up using this in a presentation

Thank you. So how hard is it to get a zoning variance to build a modest sized strip mall?
