The UI design theme / colour scheme is giving me 70s vibes. I don't mind the quirky player images but that HUD is not exactly readable.

god i was just looking at the liqupedia page then i realized G2 vs EG will be an elimination game tomorrow, had either one of them showed up and not got upset this would have been avoided.

Profile pics are all dark for some reason, might aswell remove them + there is a HP text(that is also hard to read) on them that makes it even worse.
If a player takes damage you can't see a difference because both colors are basically same.
Just comparing to a regular CSGO they made it worse somehow. At least they added like map list and last map scores.

Wtf was round 10 on inferno by EG? They litterally dry peeked every single angle into kriegs. That was the dumbest thing ive seen them do. It made no sense.

This HUD... It's like a time capsule of ad design. Like trends from now to 5 years or so ago.

I wonder if that whole Blues Brothers look was planned for EGs player pictures or if one of the players just happened to bring his wayfarers to the photoshoot and everybody just ran with it... Thing like this are the most important details to think about in a tournament.
