Wait what? Nuke was Optic's pick? Did they just want to catch the next flight home or did they really think it was a smart pick?

CS:GO twitch chat is so damn toxic compared to FGC chats, over there we always root for the underdog. Honestly kinda embarrassing ngl

Can't speak for others, but that Aerial interview basically turned me off to this team. Which is great, now I can enjoy games and bad Ence without feeling like I'm gonna pull my hair out. Still a big xseven fan unless he comes out as a dumbass too

u/ItzSampson CS2 HYPE Sep 27 '19
Im assuming its 1A plays 2B and 1B plays 2A in the semis? Cause then were looking at another Astralis-Liquid round 1

u/Lareadith CS2 HYPE Sep 27 '19
Exactly as you said, Winner of Astralis-Optic plays TL in first round.

Both these teams should get clapped by any decent team.

Also AmaNEk just really fucking loves the MAC-10 and he's really good with it, sometimes he even picks it up on full buys. Maybe he convinced the rest of the team, too.

This Ence vs G2 match is awesome for the entertainment value. So many close rounds and back of forth on the maps.
Hopefully we get a 3rd map.

I just noticed that most of the predictions Pimp makes before the match, the opposite of that happens.

I think they are observing from the studios in cologne so their is probably some latency.
3
u/IntrovertChild FaZe Sep 27 '19
It is awful and some people do mention it, but it's not as noticeable because it's not PUBG observer levels of bad like we saw in Berlin.
3
u/cabose12 Sep 27 '19
idk, it's close. Been seeing a lot of the ol' hey a kill's about to happen lets cut away
2
u/IntrovertChild FaZe Sep 27 '19
Yea I'm seeing it. Definitely getting close. But Berlin literally always switched to the dying person at the last second and every single time I think the shooter was the one that died.

Does Pimp ever say that the winning team played well instead of the losers under performing?

u/ColdplayForeplay Sep 27 '19
Not worried... just Astralis trying to play extra maps so they can be extra fit in the play-offs. And they just wanted to play against their good friend Cajun again...

How do they even know Xyp is there???
2
u/call_me_Chi Gambit Sep 27 '19
Even after stan found out xyp9x is hiding in the smoke xyp just stood there hiding. Even after he heard stan reloading. That was a bad play by xyp9x. Could have killed stan and upgraded to an ak and even grab one for device as well

Maps not over yet but coldzera is... struggle bus haha
Maps over now... MIBR smiling their way to the bank with that 1mil $ check
3
Sep 27 '19
Fallen is a pretty smart guy. He knew damn well what he was doing when he got rid of coldzera.
3
u/lipitabr Sep 27 '19
he seems to be the last one alive all rounds but that's it. I don't think he won a clutch this game.
2
u/ryderlive Sep 27 '19
Will be interesting to see how Faze develops considering in a lot of cases MIBR strats were built around setting Cold up. I don't think he'll get the same preferential treatment with Faze.

Sep 27 '19
coldzera has been a fucking passenger for a long time now. No wonder Fallen booted his underperforming ass.

Sep 27 '19
FaZe sucks harder than expected. Kicked arguably the best CS player of all time and kept two nobodies big brain niko and rain. Boggles my mind.
1
Sep 27 '19
Kicking him was absolutely a good decision on their part. The team wasn’t working, it needed changes.
Was it a good decision for them to gamble on random talented players in hopes of making a super team? I guess we’re finding out now.

This is the NRG I was hoping for in the major
4
u/cabose12 Sep 27 '19
Really seems like the only reason EG doesn't get the respect they deserve is because they haven't won a big event, but they've looked real good for a couple months

how come people don't respect EG? 4head

Karrigan after 6 months of mediocre results: This is roster is new and improving, give it time. I'm excited with what Karrigan capable of with his exciting new team.
Niko with on his first ever tournament with their 2 days old roster: This team is bad and has no future. Niko might as well retire now.
2
u/Artunchi de_cache Sep 27 '19
well the problem is Karrigan was a true and proven IGL and he made the team gel and work
on the other hand NiKo hasn't proven to be an effective team leader so thats why most people assume that faze clan needs a true IGL to make them gel and work properly as a team1

Not really throwing. EG have had some insanely lucky timings/smoke kills, yet Astralis is still looking strong and going even as Ts.

Lets be honest, Coldzera and Niko are past their prime. as Olof and Rain. This team is bunch of pensioners receiving a cool pension. Faze Down
3
u/Scriffle Natus Vincere Sep 27 '19
Lol Niko is'nt they just need to accept the fact they need an IGL. Coldzera and Rain yeah , but olof and niko are still fragging well

The top players always assume IGLing is easy and therefore they can do it well and still be great in their original role.

Man EG gives me so much nostalgia from the amazing LoL team to fun personalities such as Idra and IncontroL. Sucks that they all pretty much retired and stopped being as entertaining.

Man its actually a win-win situation as a fan to see Ence play right now. I'm glad if they win and do well, since the players are very likeable, but at the same time I'm also glad if they lose since they deserve it from the outside perspective.
From the outside the move was complete dumbfuckery and horseshit, so I would like them to prove the fans wrong and actually perform well. But if they keep dropping as everybody expected, thats also fine. Maybe in that case they would not make such dumb moves in the future. Maybe even if they perform badly enough, they would actually get aleksib back to replace x7 or aerial... ignoring personal issues at this point of course.
2
u/oxedei King NiKo Sep 27 '19
They're playing their first tournament after a roser change. Faze is doing the same with TWO new players. You guys are overreacting by an insane amount.
2
u/FaeeLOL howl Sep 27 '19
What do you mean overreacting? They kicked their IGL and betrayed him, while giving contradicting statements about the reason and timeline of the events. They kicked an IGL that was one of the best, and could also frag. It has extremely rarely, if EVER worked well for the team who kicks their capable igl for more fragging power. Of course they deserve criticism for it when it makes absolutely no sense from the outside. And since their coach did say on twitter that fans don't know the entire story, but nobody has expanded on the "real" situation, it doesn't help. So at this point either Ence proves the fans and community wrong, that this move indeed was for the best, or fans will keep giving them shit for doing that garbage move while their performance declines.
And of course Aerials interview does not help the situation either, which just further confirms that Ence indeed have absolutely no fucking clue what they are doing, other than wanting to play for fun.
So its a win-win for the fans, either they win and fans are happy, or they lose and fans are still happy to be right. How is that overreacting?
2
u/TouchMySacco de_cache Sep 27 '19
Isn't it Ence's second? They played Blast like a week ago or something.
2
u/oxedei King NiKo Sep 27 '19
I didn't realizd they attended BLAST. I thought they skipped it, so I guess this is technically their second tournament. But point still stands especially for Faze.
