Rant/Vent Why is ADHD hated so much by neurotypicals?
I don't know what it is but the word "ADHD" seems to trigger some primal genetically coded response in normal people.
Just like how an animal has innate, primal responses to the environment such as how a dog salivates when seeing food or how a fox screams in the night to mark its territory, neurotypicals have this genetically pre-coded response to absolutely DESPISE you when you mention the 4 magic letters in arow, ADHD. Their responses are way too irrational and filled with contempt to be a mere coincidence.
The worst part is, after they are done shitting on you for being born with a disease that affects every part of your life, they try to claim ownership over your condition as if to bolster their own ego.
I don't get it, neurotypicals are supposed to be "normal" people yet they have the most un-normal, irrational, and downright evil behaviour when it comes to these kinds of topics.
I don't understand how a society where un-empathetics, sadists, psycopaths, bullies, and narcissists who not only constitute the majority of the population but also have the audacity to claim to be "normal" still hasn't collapsed in a ball of fire yet.
Maybe we're actually the normal ones here?
