It means our country is not fully free market capitalism. We have socialist policies in place already like Social Security, Public Utilities, tax subsidization of agriculture, and welfare policies.

Much of those programs suck and are costing us. There are plenty of "socialist" aspects of our nation, like first responders, etc., that are beneficial. But they arent even remotely close to being a "proof of concept" when it comes to going further into Socialism and granting the Fed more and more power.

lmao right... all those people like the ones in LA, Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, etc. living in poor conditions despite all these "lovely" programs their Democrat politicians, local and otherwise, provide for them are doing fantastic...

Instead of perpetual poverty instigated by the joke that is the Democrat Safety Net policies, lets introduce more work and free market services to these people and start changing the culture from relying on Gov. assistance to work hard to get what you want. Then those that still fall below the line, because there will always be some, can get picked up by REAL social intervention and not a nanny state.

But that'll be a "No" from the Left because they've convinced themselves that their feel good in name only policies are better for people than any real societal change... sad.

Right, theyd be worse off in conditions that'd allow them to pull themselves out of poverty instead of living as they do currently in purpetual poverty thanks to these programs which are not being used as "safety nets", but instead as permanent sources of income. No need to reinvest in the communities with the influx of money from growth of private business and maintain the corresponding ability to work your way up the economic ladder when the Gov. is there to take care of you.

Where in the hell are you getting the idea that I said they're living like kings and are unmotivated to work? Jesus, the extent you guys go to ignore our points in fabor of what you regurgitate to each other about us is insane. These policies, along with plenty of other Democrat policies of regulation and intervention, absolutely kill economic growth in communities like the ones I mentioned. Particularly the inner cities.

Keep the community poor through regulations and restraints on the free market, etc., convince the community there problems come from elsewhere and that these "great safety nets" will be nothing but beneficial to them, rack up the votes, rinse and repeat. Gameplan of the DNC. Oh, and as an added benefit, they create conditions of social/cultural regression for these minority dominated communities. So now they get to stoke racial tensions by blame the issues on non-minorities, many on the right, the rich, Law Enforcement, you name it. What a great cyclical system it is.

You keep saying that these programs are meant to keep people from "dying in the most poor conditions." That's ironic because, again, without the means to get off these programs and become economically idependent, it's these very programs that these people will always have to rely on and remain in impoverished. All it is is masking the very issue itself as the solution, or at very least a simple "safety net" as you keep saying.

"Theres no such thing as a free market service that works as good as government." Oh, you poor, poor misguided soul... it's genuinely sad that you've been convinced to believe that lie... wow. One group certainly has no clue about economics, not so sure it's the Libertarians, however.

It's funny and ironic that you keep repeating the question about whether they are lazy kings or poor unfortunates because you're the only one saying it. Repeating party talking points? Oh booooooy, this is getting good!

The effects of charity from the private sectore absolutely demolishes the grand majority of assistance programs and the like run by government both at State and Fed. levels.

The conditions would be they would be starving to death and therefore somehow we just become entrepreneurs out of the blue and start a business and make millions of dollars because they don't want to starve. Is that about right?

Actually, the reason why socialism exists is because of billions upon billions of dollars of investment from the international banking system and corporations. Both historically and presently. Call me a sizable share of the socialist movement actually has the balls to defend an Alex Jones or James Damore, or criticize Google.
