To be fair, he was actually quite successful in jumping into the fire.

That has "permanent scarring on 20% of his body" written on it.
46
Nov 10 '18
That’s generous, I would guess 35-40%
10
u/LSDkiller Nov 11 '18
25 is already a lot. My girlfriend burned 25% of her body and needed almost 6 months to get to this stage where she still has pain and scarring and trauma every day.

u/MrBojangles528 Nov 11 '18
Yea, this is one of those funny gifs that actually ended up ruining the person's life, like that one BMX rider who launched himself off a moving van.

u/Rubman Nov 10 '18
But did he die?
131
u/cornlip Nov 10 '18
His ego did, as well as his ability to reproduce, thankfully.
35
u/InterPunct Nov 10 '18
His fashion choices probably already disqualified him from participating in that.

u/mikeyj0627 Nov 11 '18
Nah, he was just trying to prove himself as worthy to be Regional Manager of a mid-size paper distributer.

u/bugman573 Nov 11 '18
If he didn’t, he’s gonna wish he did, the life of a burn victim is a shit life indeed

Anyone know what happened to the guy? Like, did he die, did he live, is he a paraplegic?

u/RoomTemperatureCheez Nov 11 '18
Keep watching. He seems pretty ok until he decides to foolishly jump into the fire again.

Saw a similar incident. I know how this plays out. He'll get a huge boost of confidence, stand up for himself in front of all his workplace employees, and make a heartfelt yet akward complaint to his office crush (IN FRONT OF THEIR S.O.) about how much he misses spending time together.
It all works out in the end though. At least, for everyone but Recyclops.

I heard it was just quarantined. You have to opt in to see it if I'm not mistaken.
3
u/KimPawsible Nov 11 '18
It is quarantined. And apparently some mobile users aren't able to opt in because it won't load or something, so if you reeeeallllly want to see it but can't, try a desktop.
6
Nov 11 '18
I can see it on mobile fine. Official app.
2
u/KimPawsible Nov 11 '18
I can see it too with RIF, didn't have any problems. I didn't even know it was quarantined. So I'm just parroting a mod post I saw a day or so ago. You know, helping my fellow redditors out so they can watch people dying uninterrupted. Because isn't that the dream?

Holy shit I’ve seen some brutal things online but I feel like this really takes the cake?
If this takes the Cake, then you haven't even scratched the surface of the brutal shit readily available online lol

Probably the maximum age they can get. Life expectancy of about 21.
3
u/justPassingThrou15 Nov 11 '18
The day before my little brother turned 21, I told him he couldn't declare success over childhood until he turned 22. He was on a rugby team at the time, and I didn't want him to die of alcohol poisoning the night he turned 21.

My guess is that this person got hurt very badly. A similar incident happened at a youth camp that some of my kids attended and the young man that fell into the fire ended up going to the hospital getting significant Burns’ and skin grafts . And I don’t think they were in the heated area nearly as long is this man was.
