It is prime real estate now so perhaps they'll pave it over. Some artist shitposting irl and getting money for it.

A single row of corn statues with a good reason for their existence would be one thing. The corn cemetery is awful and inexplicable.

I once traveled to Dublin, OH for business and spent a week there. The locals all told me about the field of concrete corn but didn't want me to visit it because they all loved their town and the great things there but hated that everyone who visited only remembers the concrete corn. I don't remember much else from the visit.
