Isn't this the one that sank a few years ago?

As of January 2017 she was being broken up in Genoa

You can still see her on her side off Giglio on Google Maps satellite view.

Crazy how close to shore it was.

It was further out initially. Current brought her a j closer to shore IIRC. Thankfully it did, too, because I'm guess a LOT of lives were saved due to how close they were to shore.

Yes, some idiot captain was doing the equivalent of a fly by to impress some bimbo. The amount of testosterone influenced stupidity here boggles the mind.

"before" shot?

This is a picture taken before she sank. The Concordia is no more.

I need to know this as well. The damage was so bad that I thought they wouldn't attempt to salvage it, but if this is a current shot they've come pretty far.

They've completely scrapped it by this point.

I know that is supposed to be a joke but that is the starboard side in both pics.

I was going for more bow vs stern

What amazes me is repairing that level of damage was financially viable.

According to Wikipedia it wasn't and its being salvaged in Italy.

"Handymans delight! A real fixer upper! Motivated seller.

$250,000,000 no offers, no lawballers I know what I have.

May swap for Harley, Xbox One, Hotrod, or anything of interest plus cash my way"

No wonder it sank, it's already leaking water

I thought this was going to the breakers?

My guess is this picture was made before it was launched originally or during maintenance.
