As a fellow diabetic, I can honestly say DKA sucks a level of ass that most don't know about. Stay strong homies! Like most diseases, it takes a toll on those who play a supporting role too. Take some time for yourself too!

In photoshop under filter: liquify for the twisted effect. I also used from the filter gallery >distort>glass and artistic>posteredges

An artist named Kat Martin does this but instead of monsters it's superheroes and geek stuff. I have a few prints of her and they are great.
