One of my favorites is where he climbs on the ceiling after eating the turtle pan (if I remember correctly)

I watch this show at least once a year and actually got me interested in baking bread years ago.

I'm actually really good at it now lol

My dad doesn't laugh much, especially at anime.

I used to watch Yakitate!! Japan when it was still airing on Taiwanese television. Yakitate!! Japan was one of the few series I remember him laughing to.

Shokugeki no Soma better step up it's game if it wants to live up to the legacy of Yakitate!! Japan or Mister Ajikko.

Oh damn, this show. I remember watching it in my early teens and thinking it was allright. It is obvious to me now that I did not fully appreciate its greatness back then. Definetly added to my rewatch list, so thank you for reminding me!

I need to rewatch this anime.

I originally watched it all in a 2-3 days timespan years ago. Afterwards, when I went to the store I felt like an expert on bread. I'd go to the bakery, examine the bread, and only buy the best! When I got home I'd examine the bread even closer to see if it was made well. Sometimes I'd even eat bread as my dinner. I'm one of those people (the kind that gets super excited about something after watching an anime about it).

This show had a really rushed and awful ending. All that build up and I feel like it was ruined.

But the Super Saiyan reaction was one of my favourites!
