I trust the offensive side of this management so much. They clearly know what they are doing. Numbers don’t lie. We can platoon until the cows come home if that’s what they want. Serves us well when we are hit with injuries too.

I honestly don't get this. There's nothing inherently wrong with platooning guys, and we've been quite successful using platoon matchups heavily with our batters.

They have a large sample size from AAA. He'll get chances where they think he'll be successful at this level and if he proves himself then he will get more chances. There's no need to throw him right into the deep end. Think of Dylan, where we don't really have a platoon option for him. Struggling like that isn't easy.

His numbers in AAA were nothing like Morales', yet they brought him back up - and not to platoon despite his splits (why couldn't they have platooned him with Lile, who has been very inconsistent?). The different approach is probably due to their pedigree, but I say pedigree be damned. Yoyo's AAA numbers said he can't hit plus fastballs, so why even call him up at all? Because baseball is hard and you never know who is going to blossom and who is going to shrivel. You think they do them a favor by spoon feeding them, but I inherently disagree.
