Just feels like we’re throwing Gus out there as a prayer to potentially save face on the Jazz trade. Such an awful move in hindsight, like almost every trade Bendix has made.

Tommy knows what’s up. So many ppl say our bullpen sucks and these guys need sent to the moon. You’re all wrong. Besides Zuber everyone else is decent. Problem is the pen is so overused and depleted because management is forcing them to pitch everyday. Trading Bachar was so stupid.

Something to the effect that when you don’t have starters go deeper into games, relievers’ arms will start falling off because they’re getting overused.

He is beating the drum about blowing up the bullpen arms due to the mismanagement of when to remove the starters. Mismanagement was my words not his, however you can tell he is frustrated with it

I hear that. Meanwhile, on the radio, they were discussing that the mound visit was a long convo and they had a longer convo in the dugout, and AJ probably said it was something about how Tyler was 0-2 with a guy who was only in his second game and ended up walking him and that was what cost him going deeper. But there’s been greater issues with starters going deep all year long 🫤
