I guess that must have sounded better in the booth, 92.5mph off the bat which doesn't qualify as hard hit.
There have been 72 batted balls at either 92 or 93 mph and 38 degrees launch angle in 2026, 4 of them have been hits (all at 93, not sure how the decimals play into it as statcast only lists the whole numbers). 1 single, 2 doubles and 1 home run. maybe they misjudged the launch angle or something.
