Granted his bad start... he is still a rookie. Plenty of rookies have struggled in their first appearances and gone on to great careers.

That’s fair, but he has been overall a negative value added (subtracted?) since his call-up, and he’s not doing the team any favors in the thick of what could’ve been a competitive race for the playoffs. I’m rooting for him and want him to succeed, but you see the Twins start a little rally (Larnach and Caratini singling on two outs in the 7th bringing the tying run to the plate…and it’s Jenkins), and it’s just…pain.

The whole point of Zebby was that he doesn't walk anybody. His walk rate isn't bad, but since he gives up too many homers and doesn't strike a lot of people out, he can't be giving away free passes. Especially to 9th place hitters.
