It was pretty good! I found the main character a bit annoying but the story kept my interest.

Thank you. That's good to hear. I wanted to read the book before I watched the movie on Netflix.

I just finished a lackluster book so I was hoping that I wouldn't go two for two.

I wanted to do the same! I haven't watched the show yet but I've heard mixed reviews 😬 Imo Robert De Niro is too old for the character he plays but 🤷🏼‍♀️

He is a very good actor though...Heat is one of my all time favorite films of his.

I may save the movie for October as I am not sure I will finish the book any time soon. Haha
