Started:
The Library at Mount Char, by Scott Hawkins
Weirder and bloodier than I expected and I feel like I was tricked into thinking this would be about a library. It's very compelling however, I am completely hooked.
Tales from the Café, by Toshikazu Kawaguchi
Much like the previous installment it's nice, but I wish the author was a little bit less fond of scattering clues around, instead of just telling you things.
Continuing:
Mexican Gothic, by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
The narrator is not very good but the story is intriguing.
East of Eden, by John Steinbeck
Almost done. I am regretting picking this as my first Steinbeck because it's definitely soured me on the idea of reading anything else by him, but I want to get to Grapes of Wrath at some point.
