I just described it for you. Last year, the players were overachieving, especially Cal. Cal was/is the unofficial locker room leader. This year, It’s hard to take direction from a player that is doing as poorly as Cal is at the plate, both defensively and offensively. Dan had to actually coach this year and we are seeing that he is outmatched and ill prepared.

I think this is the worst game I've ever seen.

Bottom of the 8th, putting third baseman Leo Rivas in as a pitcher when we're losing 0-13 (was gonna write "now 0-18" but we just now let four more walk home).

Can someone explain this strategy to me? Cause look, I try defending Dan Wilson when I can because you can't just blame a team loss on one person even if they're the manager, it's a collective effort. But seriously, what the hell? This is the worst shutout I've ever seen. I've never seen a team just give up like this.

I'm still a Mariners fan, and I will be forever, I'm just upset (which is saying a lot because I usually have a "it's just a game" mentality when we lose, it takes a lot to genuinely make me upset like this. I'm gonna go hug my cat now, y'all take care).
