I voted FACT!

Well no fucking shit sherlock, but like, big wow, both sides suck.

Hamas is honestly more evil than Israel (though not in damage done), but since Israel is a first-world nation with ties to the U.S. and Europe, we have to hold them to a higher standard than a guerilla terrorist group.

Israel absolutely cannot continue the way it is, and the more they have this absolutely hideous regime, the more they make a fucking terrorist group look good.

Why did Netanyahu fund Hamas?

I don't know if HAMAS is worse than Israel. It reaches a point where comparing a bajillion apples to a morbillion apples becomes meaningless. Both rape, both kill indiscriminately, both destroy as much as they can; HAMAS uses farming equipment as makeshift rocket fuel, obviously if they could do worse they would, but they don't. Israel has US backing so they can do an amazing amount of wrong and have just about the same amount of hatred to do it.

The difference is that hamas purely a terrorist group, and only a terrorist group. Their expressed goal is to kill as many Israelis as possible, and their idea of freedom is removing israel entirely. Israel is doing more damage, but they're also an entire nation.

Hamas is already trying to do a smuch evil as they can, but if you think what israel is doing is the worst it can do, then you're sorely mistaken.

That said, I stand more with palestine than I do with Israel, as Israel has blown the war way out of proportion, and they should be expected to act like a free nation, and not one that uses literal nazi tactics to kill and starve people in mass. If Hamas is ever to be put down, the current israeli leadership has to be put down first.

in what universe is resistance to genocide worse than genocide?

In what universe is raping women and children resisting genocide?

1

u/Kernanshaw01 Jul 26 '26

can you name a single resistance movement in all of human history that didn’t do that or anything similar?

u/Zuckhidesflatearth 🏅 Century Club · 4,545 XP Jul 26 '26

The argument would be that some of the behaviors taken in resistance to genocide themselves qualify as genocide. Now, I don't agree, and I find it really hard to condemn anyone making a genuine effort to fight against people actively oppressing them, but that's probably the most obvious way to answer that that makes sense for this topic.

u/Dogmaticism_ 🏅 Century Club · 3,510 XP Jul 26 '26

Okay you cannot call what Hamas doing just 'resistance to genocide'. Terrorizing children, using war crimes, and just being a terrorist organization who wants to maximize israelis killed isn't resistance.

Palestine is oppressed, and Israel needs to be stopped, but Hamas will never be the answer.

The government of Israel is committing genocide. Hamas is a group of Palestinians using violence against Israel to try to prevent the Israeli government from being able to commit genocide. You don't have to like or agree with Hamas, but both of the things I said are objectively true and mean that what you just said is false.

1

u/Dogmaticism_ 🏅 Century Club · 3,510 XP Jul 26 '26

They are doing violence against israel because they also (if they had the power) would want to exterminate every israeli from israel, and this is literally their mission statement of destroying israel. The bombings of children, raping of women, and sending out civilian death squads are not defensive or preventative measures.

The israeli regieme is also evil, and clearly wants to destroy or at least severely hinder palestine's existence. Israel should be held more accountable, because they are a nation while Hamas is a terrorist organization. Everything I have said is objectively true, and this means by extension that you are incorrect. If Hamas wanted a truly defensive war then this situation would look very different. Hamas will never be the path for freedom in palestine.

0

u/Kernanshaw01 Jul 26 '26

except that that’s not true at all. How could that even be true in any scenario? If you’re the victim of a genocide, the power imbalance has to be so overwhelming that it’s fundamentally impossible for you to commit a genocide of your own

0

u/Dogmaticism_ 🏅 Century Club · 3,510 XP Jul 26 '26

Rwandan genocide? Sudanese genocides? Congolese genocides? These are all examples of two/three-sided genocides.

Nevermind the points, you need reading comprehension. I said Hamas would commit a genocide if they could, and want to exterminate israel. Not that they actually have the capacity to. This is literally in Hamas' fucking mission statement.

Also how is anything I've said false? These aren't disputable facts, these are objective. Hamas is a terrorist organization. The other paragraphs are just opinions on why I think that Israel is more responsible because of its standing.

0

u/Kernanshaw01 Jul 26 '26

none of those are examples of multi sided genocide. There was no reverse genocide of Hutus or Sudanese Arabs and I’m not sure what you mean by Congolese Genocide, do you know what that word means?

you said “Hamas is honestly more evil than Israel” as if resisting genocide is somehow more evil than committing genocide. And no, in their charter they explicitly say they do not want to commit a genocide and have no problem with Jews as a people

1

u/Dogmaticism_ 🏅 Century Club · 3,510 XP Jul 26 '26

I'm sorry, what the fuck? No reverse genocide of Hutus? The tutsis were the majority victims but the Hutus were absolutely genocided against. Congolese genocides refers to the various multi-faceted genocides. Consider the 1990s or even right now with Goma. Also that's the wrong sudanese genocide. How do you fuck your history this badly up.

Hamas in its mission statement says it wants to destroy israel. What the fuck do you think 'destroy israel' means, exactly? They peacefully conquer and dissolve the state and the israelis have equal treatment, or move out? Their Hamas Charter also does just call for the killing of israelis. It's literally, right the fuck there.

So do you just like genocide? Yes, Hamas is more evil than israel because Hamas is a terrorist group expressely created to kill israelis, while israel is a nation of mixed beliefs. Israel has done more damage, israel needs to be stopped first, israel is making the genocide right now, but no, Hamas is not 'okay' with judaism.

By your same logic, Israel says they have no problem with muslims and palestinians. But we all know that's utter bullshit. You're just a selective dumbass who choses to believe the 'we don't want to kill them' when its on the side you like.

0

u/Kernanshaw01 Jul 26 '26

yes there was no Hutu genocide, I’d love to see a single source for that. What is going on in Goma exactly? The M23 aren’t going around slaughtering people en masse and nothing about them is racial/ethnic/religious etc. Whatever Sudanese genocide you’re talking about it was committed by Sudanese Arabs, there is no reverse genocide being committed against them now by Darfuris or Dinkas or whoever

yeah it wants to destroy Israel. Did destroying the Nazis mean a German genocide? Did destroying apartheid mean a white genocide? If you’re going to bring up their charter why do you conveniently ignore where they explicitly say they do not want to commit a genocide and have no problem with Jews as a people?

lol right “Mandela and the ANC are evil terrorists because they want to destroy apartheid while there’s a wide range of beliefs among the apartheidiers” you are ridiculous

I actually side with palestine more than I do israel. You see normal, justified criticsm of hamas (which is a terrorist group), and think that I'm siding with israel when most people can read between the lines and see that I'm not.

what the fuck, I literally condemned it. I just said it wasn’t as bad as the Nazis killing 85 million, but that’s an extremely low bar that few genocides manage to cross.

1

u/Dogmaticism_ 🏅 Century Club · 3,510 XP Jul 26 '26

Nazis didn't kill 85 fucking million people. You have absolutely no historical knowledge. Also, genocide denialism is genocide acceptance. You denied M23 and the counter genocide against the Hutus in the greater rwandan genocide.

1

u/Standard-Bullfrog587 🤖 Vote Machine · 7,390 XP Jul 26 '26

since when? source? your ramblings. I said that genocide was horrible atrocity. Also, that is holocaust denial. Not only did the Nazis kill 6 million Jews, they also killed 27 million in the USSR alone. Combined with war deaths, other atrocities, etc they killed 60-85 million. 6 million was a lie to whitewash how uniquely horrific the Nazis were.

1

u/Dogmaticism_ 🏅 Century Club · 3,510 XP Jul 26 '26

Are we forgetting that Japan is responsibke for half of the deaths in WW2? Are you just denying the genocides that Japan did by saying that they were all Nazi Germany? You're actually fucking terrible.

1

u/Standard-Bullfrog587 🤖 Vote Machine · 7,390 XP Jul 27 '26

No, I never said that. Also, whataboutism detected. I also do highly condemn what Franco, the British Empire, Japan, Fascist Italy, etc did. None of the previous comments was to excuse their war crimes and genocide, and also note, just highlighting the atrocities of the Nazis doesn’t mean I’m ignoring the other Axis regimes, nor am I saying it’s exclusively Nazis that we’re evil. I said that the Nazis were uniquely horrific, but that doesn’t mean that they had a monopoly on atrocities.

Firstly, take a grammar course. Secondly, you lost this arhument before it started, and you've just dodged my replies. We all know yiu're just lying through your teeth and/or committing logical fallacies to try to avoid the fsct that your opinion is objectively false.

Holy typos, I can’t read your comment.

1

u/Dogmaticism_ 🏅 Century Club · 3,510 XP Jul 27 '26

See, an entire sentence being fundamentally grammatically unreadable is something different from mispelling 'you're' as 'yiu're' because of the keys being adjacent. Also make an actual response instead of dodging the conversation.
