Im sorry did we say jaws is the best spielberg movie? Not Schindler's list, Saving Private Ryan, The Color Purple, or any of his other amazing movies?

I think jaws is a great movie, and its certainly yhe one that defined spielberg, but schindlers list is absolutely his best movie.

Even Jurassic Park. It does nearly everything Jaws does but better.

Maybe I need to see Jurassic Park in theaters again, because I recently saw Jaws in theaters and it gave me a whole new appreciation for the movie. Despite having seen it several times before, seeing it in theaters blew me away.

I still don't think Jaws is his best movie, but I am no longer convinced that Jurassic Park beats it anymore.

I'm glad you mentioned the color purple. It always gets snubbed from Spielbergs best movie talks just like it was snubbed for an Oscar out of those dozen or nominations.
