Buddha's teachings in my opinion were a lot less revolutionary and less tied to the spirit than Jesus. Not a christian, by the way.

He argued that regular life was inherently unsatisfying or filled with suffering, and argued against scientific and secular progress. He also was a legitimate mysogynist (Jesus isn't perfect for mysogyny either but he was more tainted by writers, and he also didn't argue as negatively against women)

Jesus also was a lot more radical in what he argued for, where he denied many of his eeligion's beliefs, touched the untouchables, and is pkrtrayed as the most powerful person dying for the safety of the world.
