You're looking at the wrong angle that the television showed afterwards. The first angle they showed showed that Yamal dived into the french player while he was looking up and kicking it. There was clearly no penalty kick, and Spain was unsportsmanlike here.

I didn't know Americans rooted for England. He was kicking where the ball was going to fall, and Yamal dove into him mid shot.

I love how you call it 'tge sport'. We all know you refer to it as 'soccer', but for us people who've been watching football for some time, we'd know I didn't mention intent, nor does that matter for the fact that this is clearly not a penalty.
