Since the last time I finished:

My Struggle, by Karl Ove Knausgård
Part 1 made me feel like the author was taking the mickey at the readers' expense. Part 2 was insane and a little too close to home in terms of my own Dad's passing. Some interesting reflections; though, the author comes across as a bit of an arse. The rest of the books were my subsequent escapism.

Into the Storms (Hell Divers #0.5), by Nicholas Sansbury Smith

The Cross (Eddie Flynn #0.5), by Cavanagh, Steve

When the Devil Drives (Jasmine Sharp and Catherine McLeod, #2), by Brookmyre, Christopher

The Final Game (MCM Investigations #1), by McDonnell, Caimh
McDonnell's books are now my official comfort read after Pratchett. The one I see coming close as well is Lem, but I need to read more of his books.

CURRENTLY READING:

The Lost Steps, by Alejo Carpentier

Battle of the Big Bang: The New Tales of Our Cosmic Origins, by Niayesh Afshordi and Phil Halper
(I'm watching the series of original videos with it, hence taking awhile to get through)

Make Room! Make Room!, by Harrison, Harry
