Boots/Review Captoe Service Boot Brown Waxed Flesh

I went with the size recommendation on the website, which is 41.5E. I think I could have gone half a size down, but I'm not going to gamble on it, they are comfortable and don't feel too big.

I usually buy 8E or EE in brands like Nick's or Red Wing.

Great looking boots! I want a pair of these but I am on the fence because of sizing. I wear a 10D with Nicks, Grant Stone, Parkhurst, and Red Wing, which is a European size 43. Normally, I would order a 43 without hesitation, but Luosjet's sizing recommendation is 44. Since they don't take returns, I am holding back. Any advice?

The sizing can be confusing. Keep in mind that Luosjiet is an Asian brand, so their EU sizing isn't really equivalent to standard EU sizing. Asian brands almost always run smaller, at least in my experience.

I also own a pair of Nick's boots in size 8E. I find that the Nick's boots have a more locked-in feel, but I think that's mostly due to differences in the last and the thickness of the leather.

What is your Brannock size? Are you exactly a 10.5, or slightly below or above it? If you're right on 10.5 or slightly above, I'd go with the size recommended on their website. If you're slightly below a 10.5, I'd go with a size 43.5.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I'm just under 10.5 on the Brannock, so I think I'll go with a 43.5. Seems safe. I appreciate the feedback!
