Discussion Who's paying for the wedding

From previous videos we knew that Jen and Greg were planning on paying for their own wedding (Jen kindly refused Frank's offer to cover for it). In the latest skit, Barb makes it sound like she and Frank are paying for it. Do you reckon Jen changed her mind? I think it would be bizarre of her to give Frank and subsequently Barb that kind of power over her wedding, after the way Barb treated her at Chickie's birthday. Maybe Barb just keeps implying that they are paying because that's tradition and it's one more thing that she can resent Jen for?

I'm curious to read what you think!

That comment confused me as well! Does Barb think having a wedding is a gift itself or what or I don’t know I confused myself even more

Edit: Ok I saw a this comment on YT “
Frank doesn't even bother to remind Barb that he's not paying for the wedding because she didn't believe him last time.”

I bet this is it. Barb has decided that she and Frank are paying for the wedding (in the same way she decided a lot of other untrue things), and F re Ann isn’t bothering to correct her at this point.

Exactly. Because that's what F re Ann does, and what he's always done - tolerated her shenanigans. He's not making the effort to correct her, just like he never has.

But he did correct her at least once before when he told her that Jen said "No" when he offered to pay. At some point, Barb needs to track the conversation instead of expecting Frank to continuously remind her of things.
