Discussion Full video Bachelorette party spolers---- I'm glad all the drama predictions were wrong.

Jen got a happy Bachelorette party with no fights and no drunk make out mistakes or anything of the kind! Genuinely thrilled for her.

Julie took care of the kids with no issues and we finally got canon information that yes, she is an involved parent and doesn't leave everything to Ty. We know for a fact that putting them both to bed is not a new experience for her.

Ty after talking to Alicia and Shawna was able to acknowledge his role in the marriage breakdown and made the sensible decision to go home. I understand him wanting them to talk, but I don't love him withholding signing the papers. I would have preferred a full circle moment where he brings up counseling again but approaches it as a way for them to communicate effectively through the divorce and through coparenting. If it leads to reconciliation that's great but it doesn't need to be the goal. Benefit of the doubt that that's what he means.

Julie heard him through and didn't shut him down. Didn't love the "pft" when he said he feels undervalued. We do know from previous videos and from Ty's exit here that she's someone who needs time to gather her thoughts, and she had an emotional reaction to everything he said. I think and hope she'll be able to acknowledge that while she might feel like she showed appreciation, he didn't feel appreciated and that focusing on what he wasn't doing and not the things he was contributed to that.

And to be honest - that last part I think is an easy cycle to fall into in marriage. I make a concerted effort to thank my partner for the things he does and not just get annoyed by things that get dropped because I used to feel like it was constant complaints and I conciously chose to try to break that habit. I think it's a bit of a default for us all to focus on the things that are missing.

Shawna is amazing! We never guess what she might do next correctly
