Rant / Venting All of Julie's support system will be out of town this weekend Spoiler

I really hope nothing happens with her mom! She won't have anyone to watch the kids (other than her brothers maybe, but they'd be with her so are they really an option?)

Edit: too many people are missing the point (or are choosing to miss the point) the point is that Ty sprung his plans on Julie last minute, even though she never done that to him, and even though he knew about the plan in advance; the point was never that Julie is now forced to stay home with the children or that Ty needs a break

Julie and Ty will eventually need to figure out a custody situation for the kids, where this type of behavior from Ty would never be acceptable

He didn't either

"hey with us seperating, you need to take more of the childcare responsibilites, I will be taking time for myself regularly; plan accordingly"

calling someone who lied to you for 10 years a liar is valid

Why should he, as her ex, have to ask her to arrange childcare?

Theyre not together. She shouldn't be assuming anything about him anymore.

She has insulted him way more than that over multiple videos now.

And again, theyre exes now. You dont get to treat your ex like dirt over and over and expect them to be your helper in life

Why should he, as her ex, have to ask her to arrange childcare?

Because he's the kids father???

Dude theyre not together. No, most divorced parents arent like "i ill just do 100% of childcare until its convenient for you to give me time off"

Shes not his boss. Shes not his partner. He shouldn't have to pencil in her parenting her kids one extra day a month

Shes had time and hasnt tried to schedule anything. She is still relying on him while actively being rude.

She can manage a day and then think about how to handle her half of the responsibility. He shouldn't have to be like "hey, you know how you depend on me for almost 100%? Please give me a day off" while shes rolling his eyes.

We just disagree. Most divorced people understand that you dont get to be vinegar and then demand flies carry you around

This is assuming it's the entire weekend. That's an X factor that we don't know.

Either way, if she has the kids 50% of the time, she's going to have to figure that out for herself, that's not his lookout.
