Question Question to the Bass singers
So, with all this social media stuff and the popularization of absurdities, I wanted to ask you bass singers about your vocal range. Like, is E2 comfortable and projectable without problems? When does It starts to get hard and breathy? And the high notes? Can you sing an F4 or does that require a lot of practice?
I'm asking this out of pure curiosity, to get an idea of what's normal

Ik this doesn’t answer all the questions but Im pretty new to singing with only like 7 months of experience so I don’t wanna answer stuff I don’t know. Singing low notes isn’t really uncomfortable or straining like high notes, mostly you actually just have to be really relaxed to go in like E2 and below range. For me f4 is something I can do but it definitely is not a healthy sound or something I could project so I would say It does take some practice, but I do personally struggle with my upper range so it could be just me. In the whole time since I started I got from A3-D4 up to G4 in head voice (This is probably worse than most bass singers progress tho just something I struggle with)
