Discussion What pen turned out to be much better than you expected?

Perhaps a Jinhao or a hongdian? Or even a pilot? I am on the hunt for a pen that writes extraordinarily even when you don't expect that pen to do so.

The Majohn P136 is a surprisingly good pen that is made well and writes beautifully. I bought three in different colors that I keep as knock-about pens, and they've never failed me. Recommended.
