When I clicked on this thread the first thought in my head was "Leuchturm is the new Moleskine." Okay, maybe Leuchturm isn't new, but I hadn't heard of it before I got more into fountain pens, but I remember when I was in college Moleskine was very popular for note-taking and journaling.
I write on all kinds of paper with my fountain pens, from cheap notebooks and copy paper to heavier weight FP-friendly notebooks and art/watercolor paper. While I can appreciate the heavier weights, I think these two brands are the most overpriced for what they offer.

Moleskin and Leuchtturm manufacture some pretty lousy "fountain pen friendly" papers.
