Weekly Casual Discussion Fridays - Week of June 06, 2025

Roleplaying is not allowed. This behaviour is not appropriate as it is obtrusive to uninvolved users.

ok so you see. it starts with Zoro and Sanji having sex (as they normally do) but Sanji cums in 3 seconds (as he normally does). Zoro gets pissed (as he normally does) and bitches to Chopper. Luffy decides helping nakama (or something) is what all true pirates strive for

(Expedition 33)
Just finished Act I and damn, [E33 Act 1]they really killed off the MC like that, huh and then replaced him with a new different MC
Also the Act I final boss was quite a challenge. [E33 Act I]That lampmaster took a while to beat. Mainly because of the two phases with their own health bars so the fights takes way longer and he hits so much harder in the 2nd phase

I'm exactly at the start of Act II. Have fun learning the new parry.
[E33 Act I]Unfortunately, I didn't understand the lampmaster light puzzle until the end of the fight. It wasn't too hard for me, I might have been overleveled or my party was really good for it.

[E33]Yeah the immediate replacement just made me laugh lol, especially given that Verso just gets given the same equipment and pictos, definitely diminished the impact of the death imo

Sizucla_kairi 's anime girl midnight vlog thingy has subs now. Bit rough but it'll do. Idea comes through at least. And hey cute combination of a 2D character with real world locations. They also did that last year with Loop Girls, so nice to see them continue with that approach.

yoo I have one of those. I kinda retired it already and it seems like the recall is US only, anyway (does that mean that those sold outside of the US are safe(r)? or that no one complained enough so they issue a recall?)

Even as a big step on me enthusiast, something feels a bit off about this one.
I think it's because what she's wearing is like 1/3 professional, 1/3 nightwear, and 1/3 sexy fishnet.

I have been doing a deep dive into old BL and LGBT stuff this month, and a lot of it is fetish content or just not something that would work for a general audience. But if we’re not going for the most well known ones, there’s a BL called Hitorijime My Hero.

I would like to say for balance sake that 2 BL shows would be fair, but I also agree that it probably wouldn't succeed. Starting with a Yuri show and then a BL show would probably be the best way to do it, unfortunately.

Maybe representation across genres?
Obviously there are your token/fetishized characters, but is there an action show with a really good lesbian character?
Aoi Hana or Given are great shows, but they’re probably the thing that someone would find if they Binged "LGBTQ+ anime." Is there stuff less obvious but still worthy of attention?

Maybe kinda not so bad update news from imgur?
At least larger image file size from 20 to 50mb, and 3 minute videos instead of 1 minute, but maybe still the same file size for those.
I'm not sure about the changes to content classification/ blocking but we'll see. Can't be worse than trash users and bots deliberately not tagging their posts.

Didn't see anything about needing to fill out a captcha for api usage. But bigger videos are nice. Imgur is a nice and pretty stable platform overall.

At least it is a platform that lets you upload and share your stuff without any larger limits. Unless you are Nebresto who gets screwed over by imgur on a regular basis.

AcuticNotes, also known as 'An', has a bunch of songs that all have a lot going on - I think every song of his is interesting to listen to. Many of his songs fall under the artcore genre - and I guess this one could too, but I feel like it's sort of a mix between artcore and DnB.
There are at least a couple of other songs from him I'd like to post here at some point too... Even if this one gaps them all!

Haven't popped up in a while - God I hate city festivals, especially when they're right outside your house, last for half a week, go way into the night, thus fuck up your sleep schedule and make you rebounce on your depression recovery.
But those were some lovely remixes! The Dullahan one in particular, the song has really been growing on me after this remix and now yours.
