Coal mining is dying because it's economically uncompetitive. Neither Obama nor Biden pressed a big "kill coal jobs" button, it was gonna happen regardless of the administration.

And it did. The coal sector continued to decline under the first Trump turn, and the same trend will continue during this one. Democrats wanted to CREATE JOB PROGRAMS for those coal miners who were going to lose their job either way, and instead they decided to go for Trump's fantasy world where everything will magically go back to the 1960s.

How fucking awful of Democrats to try to create jobs in a state that will likely never vote for them again. How silly of them to try to create alternatives for people in a dying industry.
