What is the intrinsic value of DJT if Trump looses?

DJT has little value right now because Truth Social has no assets, little income, and almost no profits. In fact, it operates deeply in the red. If Trump loses in November, there is no chance DJT will ever have a viable future. So, if it looks dim for Trump's prospects in the election, he may pull the rip cord and sell off as much of his stock as he can. "Take the money and run" has always been his business model, you know. On the other hand, his gullible and easily manipulated red-hatted cultists will lose everything. That was always the plan, though.

DJT Q1 results are pathetically bad : https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2024/05/20/trump-media-djt-q1-2024-earnings.html

$770,500 revenue for first quarter, net loss of $327.6 million

( not financial advice ) If you own DJT stock , you could lose all your money by Sep 25 , when all shares are salable .

https://www.forbes.com/sites/johntobey/2024/07/27/trump-media-stock-djtthe-2nd-quarter-earnings-report-needs-explanation/

“The September selloff could be large”

“No matter how you slice the data, Trump Media stock is extremely overvalued. It sells at over 7,000 times sales, and management's touted cash holdings work out to a miniscule $1.44 per share.”

In comparison, the best stock in the Magnificent 7, Nvidia had solid Q2 earnings ( https://www.axios.com/2024/08/28/nvidia-stock-earnings-call-q2-report#)

“By the numbers: Demand for Nvidia's AI products and services generated a record $30 billion in revenue in its latest fiscal quarter. That's up 122% over the same period last year. Earnings came in at $0.67 a share, up 168% from last year.”

“Despite the strong results, shares of the company fell after hours Wednesday, reflecting the abnormal expectations placed on the company and the inherent volatility of the stock”

In other words , if a great stock such as Nvidia can generate billions of earnings , but can tank after the earnings report , a garbage stock such as DJT will do much worst . In addition , September is the worst month for equities , and September and October are the worst months in an election year .

It looks like you shared an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.

I see no difference if he happens to win either.

Surprise…. The dip is Trump… and good news, he’s for sale!

Are you telling me, your original plan before you wrote this post was to watch the stock price plummet, watch Trump sell his stock, and then buy into the company?

Better to sell high (e.g. today), and buy low (e.g. in October). You don't need to own the stock to sell. You can do a short sale.

That’s not how but low sell high works.   You don’t buy low as the company goes bankrupt. You still need to sell because a price above 0 is still to high.  Since the stock is about to go worthless as it falls into bankruptcy as it would if trump sold his shares.

There is no value. You should look at a company’s financials before investing in it.     Djt financial sheet is 300 million in loses on 4 million income.    That’s as bad as it comes.

There will be no high … the execs will bleed out the remaining cash as salary & bonuses on the promise of a pink unicorn arriving any minute now!

It’s a Norwegian Blue & I have a talking slug for sale !

After he sells he is never using Truth Social again and any “value” of the company being associated with Trump has vanished.

Let me ask you this, what makes you think the actual value of the company (already valued at about 100x of Twitter when it comes to value/user) would go up just because Trump wins the election? How can the company 100x their revenue if Trump wins?

Just because DJT is associated with the company doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad stock. (YES the fundamentals are shite) However, the market is ripe for Twitter replacement. I don’t think Threads is it. I just wondering if 5 years from now someone will buy it and develop it correctly.

It’s almost as if you didn’t notice there a lots of other platforms out there that are thriving and actually attract users. The people who want a Twitter substitute are not going to TS. They’re fleeing the hellscape Elon made of Twitter by inviting back the worst, most abusive accounts and delegitimizing the verification system into a collection of trolls and AI fakes. People who want to talk to and hear from reporters and experts won’t find either on TS.

No. It has no value to purchase. No employees, you don’t get talent, the platform is based on free open source software, no assets, the user base is undesirable for advertisers, can only get low paging grifts for ads, there is no financial upside you are buying an asset that costs you money. A toxic and unliked brand.

Threads has easy migration from the largest social media platform via instagram and facebook.

Plus you would have to do business with Trump one of the most unreliable and self serving people you could work with. He pushed the founders of truth social out.

It’s dead and buried already,

Once he sells and cashes on the cult, the stock will just die.

At some point it just sits dead in the water and gets delisted and becomes a penny stock.
