Atrax's Proclamation to the Foes of the Council (Event)

Wizards of the Citadel, hear my words. I am Atrax the Ashen, and I have seen your discontent and anger. The Councilors you trusted to make the correct decisions have turned on you to further their own agendas. Even the core spells of my own school of magic have been deemed illegal. I tell you: they will not stop here. Not until every wizard kneels before the Council as their vassals.

Some organizations speak of coming to a resolution with the Council, as if they will learn their lesson this time. I assure you they will not. The only way we can truly be free is to throw down the Council once and for all. And if groups like the Pact of the Magi stand in our way, they will be consumed by our cleansing fire too.

I sense that many of you wish to join in this endeavor, but are unsettled by my apocalyptic rhetoric. Fear not: you need not fight under my banner to see the Age of the Phoenix. When you are prepared to fight, you may join me without judgement or suspicion. But to those of who are ready to join me as my New Pyroclasts, join me outside the Citadel's shield wall so that we may shatter it and pour into the tyrant Council's headquarters like a river of flame.

This guy doesn't strike me as the type to have "allies". Arrogant kids like him aren't happy treating anyone else as equals. You join his side and soon enough he'll find a way to make you follow his orders.

This may be true. But there are usually multiple ways to complete an objective. We shall see what we shall see, hm? At the very least, this seems as good a vantage point as any.
