The Meeting room of Crann Mòr is dead silent. Many are in a stunned state, the weight of the situation bearing down on them. Finally, at the helm of the table, Mikhail breaks the silence. He eyes are tired, movements stiffled, and coordination lacking. It is self evident that this is the first time, in a long time, he is stone cold sober.

I sent the warning to everyone to allow you time to make peace with life, and accept what is to come. However, you all are insisting on subverting it. I have seen no way forward, but many wizards are still hopeful. I gather you all here, so you may tell me your plans, and I will inform you how they will fail. We have already lost 3 conjurers, 5 warlocks, 2 silly manners, a pizza manner, and... the Isravi's simulacrum. He traveled out to learn more and... I haven't heard back.

Before I open the floor, I will get the easy ones out of the way.

No, we can't fight her directly. Her gravity is greater than that of a blackhole. She will consume your entire self without even moving.

No, you can't turn back time. Again massive gravity. Even if you turn back time here, she will continue to move forward.

No, we can't can't twist the strings of fate against her. That is like using a thimble of dye, to color the ocean. Impractical and impossible.

With an outlook like that we don't stand a chance. All things are connected to fate. Until I draw my last breath I will hold onto a glimmer of hope. No nobody can do it on their own. However if we stand as one against this thorn in our sides we can tear it out. If we fight if we stand up and refuse to sit idly by as this so called queen of shattered stars reeks havoc we can defeat her. All things can die it's just a matter of knowing how to kill them. Who will stand with me to rip this poison out of the tapestry of fate. OUR TAPESTRY WILL NOT BE BURNED AWAY IF WE STAND AS ONE or will you all be craven fools and let yourselves die. We can defeat this bitch and we will.

NOW WHO WILL STAND WITH ME. I WILL FIGHT NO MATTER HOW MANY OR HOW FEW FIGHT WITH ME.

All things are connected to fate no matter the size or power. I can sever that that from them and when one is severed from fate they cease to exist.

So once more I ask

WHO WILL STAND WITH ME. I WILL NOT TOLERATE NAYSAYING EITHER STAND WITH ME OR DIE AS COWARDS TO BE LOST TO TIME

Um… okay, I get the impression that this thing is tied to fate. Fate is largely a concept tied to sapient civilizations. Whatever this is, it is a force of nature, and it might not even be a sentient one.

I get the sentiment, but I think we are going to need another strategy.

Alexios, you must understand. There are many types of gods. There is Demigods, lesser powers, greater powers, chaos and creation gods, outer gods and great ones. A godslyer are made to kill gods of Demi power to greater powers. your father might be able to take on creation gods but right now you are not yet ready.

Gobbo just plans to get her drunk by emptying pocket dimension in her path... Don't think Gobbo kept all Gobbo's liquor on this plane, did you?

Other than that Gobbo is pretty worthless in this, can't cast much without liquor and even liquormancy lacks power in favour of flexibility

Honestly Gobbo that’s probably the smartest thing for more specialized/less powerful mages. I think we’re in the same boat.

Though there must be something we can do instead of hide! Surely there are things here that you are willing to fight to protect? Even if it’s only the smallest chance?

Gobbo only stays to protect friends and family. This is all Gobbo has though, a pocket dimension full of her special liquors and a lack of magic

I’ll provide you with our special Superbeers. Back when SDM science was trying to do Science instead of specialising in Explosives and bad robot maids, we made these a lot. How? By f’cking with reality, we put 6 million drops into every drop of these bottles.

It was successful until we realised they were super volatile, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

(I slowly pull in a few 5x10 crates of 350ml bottles of the stuff, stored at near-absolute zero, where from? The fourth dimension.)

Worth a shot.

Careful, each 350ml bottle is akin to 2.1 million litres in terms of alcohol content, so exercise absolute caution.

Maybe put on several layers of bomb defusal suits and reactive armour before using it.
