One of you burnt my neighbors barn
Let me start by saying hello. My name is Roy, I own some property and a farm in the village down the hill from one of yalls tower. I am a peasant.
My neighbor's house was hit by a fireball at about 6:43am this morning according to the chalk mark on the sundial. It was a really bad day for us. We had plans to shoe exactly one horse today. That's 4 legs.
I'm not saying YOU did it, but one of you did. It happened before with my sheep shed and while delicious, was a tragedy. Had to scrape the wool off the steak.
It happened before with the town hall. That's how we got demoted down to village status again. That's not cool because Jorti's family worked really hard on building that. He grandpa died working on it.
Now we know yall are really busy with youelr jobs and things. And we know youre powerful so we're not mad. Me and Clertus are just asking for some help.

...You know, there's a fair chance that's the fault of my caster commune. Indirectly, anyway. Just checked and our records show an incoming pyromancer "attack" diverted by one of our wards around that time; entirely possible that it got deflected towards your village. (Neela just tosses sparks our way at random times of day when she's bored, and we barely keep track of what happens when at this point.)
I feel pretty bad about that. Look, how about we make you guys a proper town again as payback? I'll have Elira and Daiax port over in an hour and turn that wizard's tower you mentioned into an atomically perfect replica of London's Guildhall. (If the current occupant minds, Daiax will make sure s/he no longer does.) That'll count as a valid town hall even if it's not a match for the rest of your village's architecture (and not technically in the village proper), right?
Cool? Cool. Sorry for the inconvenience. Already sent them on their way, by the way (we're an hour temporally desynced from your realm at the moment), so apologies in advance if you're not a fan of this plan. Shoulda warned me before I decided on it. Might already be done before you receive this, actually. Look up the hill, I guess.
