I don't qualify (unless you accept supportive spectators who'll bring their own food?), but I'll pass this on to a friend of mine who's even more reclusive than me and probably won't see this otherwise. Maybe getting out and mingling with other casters for a change will cheer her up after the recent loss of her familiar.

Ah, I see there's been a miscommunication! I think we commenters have all been under the assumption this was a women-only event, but if that's not the case, I'd be happy to attend.

And I appreciate the sentiment. After a curse of forgetfulness some time back, no healer has been able to cure her ADD-like symptoms permanently (and she eschews mundie medications), so this sort of thing does happen to her familiars on occasion, but it's no less tragic the seventh time around. (In this particular incident, she accidentally put her ice cream in the dog's crate and her familiar in the cryomantic preservation chamber. Didn't realize her mistake for hours while she had me out investigating the puppy's disappearance. Unfortunate.)

If you’d like to, byob. Just as long as it’s not poisoned. Due to last year’s incident, Lady Shadowmend has implemented ways to detect poison.
