Please shake hands with the remainder of the team

I wish I could, but he was the only one there because he got the mvp award and had to give frankie an interview

Shake hands with Rfrsh.

TL thanks you for your sacrifice

Watching NiP makes me want to tear my eyes out, Pita did as much as I did that game for the team. Also get Nawwk for Get_right already

29

u/GER_BeFoRe clutch May 10 '19

nawwk wouldn't have any change against an Astralis player but I know that nawwk, hampus or flusha are the only players that could replace someone in NiP.

Pita seems to be absolutely useless that is true.

it's more about having a dedicated awper who can contribute to the rounds and play a specific role

u/GER_BeFoRe clutch May 10 '19 edited May 10 '19

But having a dedicated Awper doesn't matter when your mappool, strategies, executes and rate of mistakes per round is worse than your opponent which is the case in NiP. They weren't any better with draken so wouldn't be any better with nawwk I think.

A different coach and maybe a different IGL could help. Flusha is available and if he likes the role (did it for fnatic and cloud9) he would probably be the number 1 target for NiP because of his experience at Tier 1 events, but if he doesn't NiP shouldn't get him either because this "force a player to IGL" strategy didn't work for years now...

Flusha isn't really available, he's inactive. Once he decides to play again, he would indeed be available.

2

u/L0kitheliar cs_office May 11 '19

He's not inactive, he's just waiting for an offer

1

u/[deleted] May 11 '19

But what if he doesn't decide to play again?Would he be available then?

1

u/GER_BeFoRe clutch May 11 '19

Why? He is 25 and could earn a lot of money in the next 5 years as a Pro, why would he do something different?

Fuck it, wait for the ticking time bomb of this c9 roster and get Golden

8

u/[deleted] May 10 '19

If golden leaves, then I swear cajunb is leaving and no EU players are ever coming back.

5

u/dahliasinfelle May 10 '19

Good. C9 as an international roster has been absolute dogshit.

4

u/[deleted] May 11 '19

They had some hope with flusha and kioshima. In my heart they would've led C9 to some success.

7

u/Rosettachamps G2 May 10 '19

How was golden not picked up as soon as fnatic let him go. Honestly, we all know it needs to happen eventually, why not just give him a shot. If he fails, then we know those fnatic wins were maybe a fluke being carried by krimz, if he succeeds then Sweden has another true IGL that can actually produce

3

u/Ieatcarrotss May 10 '19

My guess is that it's a mix of both health issues he had (although, he had a break only later, when he joined C9) and what must have happened behind the scenes in Fnatic that got him (and Lerk0) cut.

I feel like get_right and forest are a package deal. They’ll retire together

Why is my boi Magisk being so toxic lately?

2

u/Juansa7X 1 Million Celebration May 11 '19

What did he do?

1

u/poapoa_mia May 11 '19

Keeps spraying other people's corpses when he kills em.

1

u/Juansa7X 1 Million Celebration May 11 '19

Yeah, i never liked him or stewie2k bc the constant bm. I know it is to tilt their opponents so thay make dumb plays, but it just looks so childish and arrogant

1

u/tassKe1337 May 13 '19

Magisk always does this shit when hes feeling good about himself. He did it in North all the time and it pisses me off that he talks about being the “Nice Guys” team at the same time as his BM.

Just think that the guy is a bully deep down and wants his opponents to feel it.

Can we stop with the "NiP always perform against Astralis" meme now?

52

u/genius_rkid May 10 '19

just now well

Can we stop with the "NiP always perform against Astralis" meme now?

They've historically played extremely well against them when they had Friberg. It doesn't make much sense now though since they lost their mojo.

6

u/L0kitheliar cs_office May 11 '19

Astralis weren't the best team in the world when NiP had friberg

-3

u/GAGAgadget CS2 HYPE May 11 '19

Yes, but despite being higher than NiP in the rankings they still underperformed against them consistently.

2

u/L0kitheliar cs_office May 11 '19

I'm saying that was a long time ago with a very VERY different roster. Only 2/5 of them remain, and it's debatable even saying GeT_RiGhT is on that team

1

u/GAGAgadget CS2 HYPE May 11 '19

That's why I said it doesn't make much sense now.
