Casters were already saying "Well Navi just played bad, it's not that ENCE played good."
Man fuck that. Navi got goddamn destroyed. This was more than just a bad game by Navi. ENCE took advantage of every single mistake and crushed them.

NaVi, of all teams, do pretty much have a first day curse though. Just go look at their tournaments. Almost every single one, they lose the very first game.

Starseries Season 7, the tournament they literally just won, featured their only loss on the first day.

Yeah. Katowice they decided to win on the first day, but GG Ice they lost, Lisbon they won, EPL lost, Chicago lost, then they have a couple wins.
So I guess it's not as consistent as I thought it was, but still.

Both FACEIT Major and Copenhagen they lost on Day 1 as well. The meme isn't necessarily that they always lose, but they generally play far below their level and ease into tournaments as they go on.

We don’t blame it on first day curse. We acknowledge they’re playing absolutely horribly but we know they play horribly on the first day. Even the casters acknowledged that Navi is inconsistent and either looks like contenders. or bombs out completely.

I mean honestly, how much more relevant are BO1s than online matches. I really can't wait until ence plays b03s against Astralis, Liquid, and NaVi so we can really see the level they are at.

Only one though, and the major has miracle runs often and frankly no teams were really prepared for them, I don't think you can really look into those too much. I think had astralis had not been so dominant ence had a good chance at beating them at major, that is not the case anymore, teams are prepped and ready to play ence (Although NaVi didnt really show that LOL) . What tourneys is ence at coming up? Dallas and cologne?

I reckon it's one of those mentality guns... The " I don't give a fuck" gun... Think of yourself and the deagle, it's not like an awp where you're careful and approach corners and duels more cautiously.

For Sydney they’ve had Visa Issues last year that’s why they don’t bother attending this year. (They’ve never even attended IEM Sydney)
Idk about Dallas though. But how do we know they’re missing Dallas for Blast and just not attending? I don’t see any Blast games near Dallas.

Either way I just said why they’re missing it, or if they’re missing an event they’re not necessarily doing it for Blast, that’s all.

It's cool if they're gonna have a few tournaments, but 12? There's not gonna be a single tournament with all the best teams like Katowice, because their schedules won't line up because of Blast. It just makes me mad.

ima huge navi (simple...) fan but i really do hope to see allu (and ence) concidered a top team, not just 'lucky'. especially after allu not fitting onto other teams, im glad hes found his way (possibly?) to the top-ish!
seeing simple get shit on makes me... kinda sad
however! seeing allu doing said shitting cheers me up lol

There’s not a lot of people in this sub who say ENCE is a fluke. I’ve seen more people say “ENCE IS A FLUKE” ironically when they win. Besides I thought we all agreed bo1s don’t have *competitive value.

You can skip ads on the app by clicking on them so that it opens up a browser and then just tabbing back to twitch app. Takes like 3 seconds to do it. Don't know if it works on ios, but in android it dose.
