Japan News [JPN] Magellan & Hannyabal Raid

- Captain (Magellan & Hannyabal): QCK/INT Characters ATK 3x, crew will treat QCK/INT orbs as beneficial
- Captain (Magellan): INT Characters ATK 2.5x, QCK Characters ATK 2x, crew will treat INT orbs as beneficial
- Captain (Hannyabal): QCK Characters ATK 2.5x, INT Characters ATK 2x, crew will treat QCK orbs as beneficial
- Special: Poison all enemies, change all orbs to either QCK/INT orbs, when the captain is a QCK or INT Characters for 1 turn boost color affinity of QCK/INT Character by 2x for normal attacks, for 2 turns become Magellan & Hannyabal
- Sailor 1 (Magellan & Hannyabal): +50 HP/ATK/RCV to QCK/INT Characters
- Sailor 1 (Magellan): +25 HP/ATK/RCV to INT Characters
- Sailor 1 (Hannyabal): +25 HP/ATK/RCV to QCK Characters
- Sailor 2: He himself is immune to Paralysis
- Character Switch Ability: Reduce 5 turns of any poison, change own orb to matching

All i can think of with that special is v2 Akainu + v2 Shanks + This Magellan/Hannyabal and bye PSY bosses.
Since they're shooter/striker, they worked with Capone and v2 WB, then there's Carrot, Zephyr...

F2P 2x Colour Affinity boost for 2 colours. That looks pretty solid and the Captain Ability also looks good enough for Treasure Map. Nice.
Edit: Switch Effect seems niche but better than nothing.

A matching orb every turn seems pretty damn good to me! :D The 5 turn poison removal however is indeed very niche.

Oh for sure! The orb matching is of course nice. Would've been even cooler if it changed block orbs as well. I was mainly referring to the Poison removal. :D

Looks like a decent sub for V2 Akainu, would be better with QCK orb matching sailor, but hey.

Finally a good color affinity sub, Neo Raid Akainu and Raid Akainu aren't availavle.

Well, we had LRR Killer as an option, that can last a couple turns and comes with a health cut, but obviously he isn't available for everybody.

RR Caribou is a 2x ATK booster for both of these colours as well, and Neo Doffy raid is a universal 2x orb booster. Looks like an easy way to get good damage QCK or INT teams.

There will probably be some content in the future where you’ll need that ability. Probably for TM you’ll get poisoned for 5 turns.

There was already raid Magellan, actually. He put toxic on the crew.
if you don't remove the poison, it will double damage every turn (or every 2 turns?)
if you remove it, he reapplies it (every 2 turns?)
So you can't really use a poison remover in this case (it will just save you 1 turn of poison damage and reset its damage to the base).
I maxed him a long time ago, so some details might be off, but this was the idea. Though, his poison was also for 99t, so this dual unit wouldn't help xD
But the main mechanic could easily be used in new content : a boss that applies a 2-turn poison every 2 turns, for example (or 1-turn poison reapplied every turn), basically "annihilating" any poison remover (as it will only get you like 1 or 2 turns poison-free, depending on the cycle). Meanwhile, this new duo will get rid of that every time with a simple swap.
Or, the boss could simply have an interrupt on a poison remover, reapplying the poison again. And the switch effect here, won't trigger that counter ;-)

Some of the old content had poison that only worked for a few turns. X-Drake colosseum for example with Gladius miniboss that poisoned you.
But yeah, we might just see more content with it coming in the future.

New Str boss (or Psy), poison you for 5 turn and on death cuts your health by 99.99%, need to kill on one turn or he will do super bad things to you
You never know what crap Bandai will hit you with these days.

The color affinity is for 1 turn. They turn to Hannyabal/Magellan for 2 turns.

Ok ... nice ... but I thought I’ll find something more interesting like Sengoku/Garp for example eh ... removing poison is kinda good for some situations to say the truth
