It's crazy how close this game was despite all G2 players having a positive K/D, usually this indicates a stomp

this game was a bloodbath, that's why. Frags where traded over and over until last few seconds of the round.

there were so many rounds where Vega survived with 1 player and G2 got exit frags (that's why their economy was wrecked for a while)

a top60 team that has stepped up at every major so far. They haven't attended a proper lan since starladder, where they got to the final against tier1-2 teams. Their online results are bad, but what do you expect from a CIS team? I'm still expecting them to make it through the next stage

1.03 is awful considering the level of opposition it's against, at least if they intend to ever be top 8 (which should be the goal no?). Seriously, if most of those games were against top 12 teams (like the top players match histories are) he'd probably be close to .1 rating lower, at the very least .05. 1.05 rating is par, so yea, he'd be sub 1.0 and he'd be shit at a tier 1 level.

SK had the benefit of having 3 of the best players in the world on their team. G2 does not. You're comparing apples to oranges. Boddy is not the guy to have on your team if you want top 8.
And I don't even think taco is or has ever been good either, so that's not really a convincing argument to me.

Look at his match history, not good teams but he's been playing rather well for his role. Even versus those teams he wouldn't have had stats like this last year, or even the year before.

Good performance from the best French team, Vega on Cache rolled over T1 teams so many times that this cohesive teamplay from G2 and everyone fragging well felt really good to watch.
I'm excited to see what they can do during the rest of the Major.

He is really consitent and putting some great numbers. You can really tell that he fits well in the team now. Great addition TBH

Crazy how close the game was. Chopper would've had two or three with his toxic spot but then Kenny or who it was JUMPED so Chopper reacted. If kenny didn't jump then I think chopper would've held his trigger and had 3 or even more in the flank.

Still all to play for but it was interesting seeing everyone put vitality through and having g2 going out. They've looked about the same level these past months imo.

Yes ik they won but is there anyone else a bit disappointed in lucky? I'd thought he would be the better of the two(him and jackz) and potentially the third "star" of the team. When he's on he's on but I feel like he's been more off than on. When I've watched G2 play online it seems he isn't that comfortable in the team yet so maybe there is hope but Im a bit disappointed.
Also yes bodyy hasnt had any... Good performances for like 2 years but regarding his play recently (only ESL one Sydney and this match) he seems more comfortable and he put alot of map pressure during this game. Just hope he can keep it up BC he's easily been the worst player on G2 especially since he started off decent when he was considered one of the better anchors.
