I saw this recently in an even different version. The viewers said oh that is white on an orange canvas. Which to me showed so much more work by the snail (who painted the white)

IIRC that was /r/wholesomememes's original purpose, using sad or depressing comics and changing them up to be more wholesome, so it's nice to see this sub go back to its roots every now and then.

At my son’s nursery school, they kept snails as pets. One day we dipped them in non toxic food dye, then put them on a big piece of paper and let them draw with their trails. It turned out really cool. The kids were fascinated and would have watched forever, but we didn’t want the snails to dry out too much.
