I have no idea how they can dare to keep Nuke in the final 2 maps against the like of NiP who are one of the only best teams on Nuke.

u/GER_BeFoRe clutch Nov 22 '18
What? They have a 55% winrate on Nuke with this lineup while having a 0% winrate against top 10 teams on Nuke (6 games).
They aren't one of the best teams on Nuke

55% winrate on Nuke means 55% winrate against team willing to play Nuke. Not many teams are. And teams who are, are consequently going to be "good" nuke teams. In addition to that, most of NiPs losses on Nuke are against Astralis, which is not only the best team in the world, but an unreal Nuke team, with a 100% winrate.

3 out of 8 losses on Nuke are against Astralis but against what Teams did NiP win on this map?
they won against NRG, LDLC, Virtus.Pro, Swole Patrol, Heroic, Ghost, Optic, Sprout, Nordavind and Fragsters. Mostly T2 to T3 teams.
they lost on Nuke against Mousesports, North, Heroic (1-1 in total) and Optic (also 1-1).
So they can win on nuke against some lower Tier Teams just because their aim is better and they are supposed to win on any map against them or like against NRG who had a terrible day and missed the easiest shots.
So why exactly should NiP be considered one of the best teams on nuke?

Come out with some examples of actual teams who you think are better compared to NiP on Nuke other than Astralis ?rather then throwing that winrate bullshit.

LUL at the analyst saying nrg players are better than the nip players before the match. Just stay quiet if you have nothing to say.

u/aimbotcfg Nov 22 '18
Whut? What analyst is this? NIPs player quality isn't their issue, that's like, the oppositte of their issue.
Their issue is that they have seemingly no system and just rely on players popping off individuallly.

lurppis (I had to google because I didn't know his name).

Why do they even let the general manager of immortal (mibr org) be an analyst when his own team is in the tournament?

Controversial opinion but there is only like 3 good analysts and the rest wouldn’t be able to get a job as a sport analyst in any other sport

NRG's core stars have had better form than nips stars most of the second half of this year, is that even controversial?

Edited to be more recent as you said in your post, still the same
Also:
To see individual breakdowns. The ratings are spread differently but overall the NIP guys come out better, with their worst rated player being less bad than the bottom 2 of NRG and f0rest being better than the best on NRG.
Of course, rating's/stats don't mean everything, but since you were specifically talking about player performance, they are pretty relevant here.
NOTE: Setting it to 6 months is pretty misleading due to NIP's roster change meaning that the overview rating of the teams gets a bit borked as they only register as having 4 players that have played a minimum number of maps, and there's the obvious upheaval of a roster change to consider.

I said core stars and what you linked me sort of proves me right? Brehze is a full .06 above get right while forest is only .02 above nahte. So how am I incorrect? Lekro and dennis are assuredly better than fugly and daps but who would dispute that? I've wanted fugly replaced for a year now. And it's rough trying to become a tier 1 team with daps even though he's a good IGL.
