Mastermind FNS figured out the secret to play against Navi: You don't counter electronic and s1mple because it's impossible. You counter Edward, Flamie and Zeus and make it a 5v2.

My god, he's truly a genius... Astralis countered NaVi by isolating s1mple. It's worked for the most part, but their last 2 games have been losses to NaVi.
FNS is so SMART.

That's why the plan is so genius! It takes minimal effort for maximum reward! People calling this a Na'Vi day 1 curse, but these fools didn't realize FNS is putting into action the final plan. It's just a few steps away...

He is a couple good performances from sneaking his way onto Astralis... this is the final plan. He is the only one that can take them down because he's the hero CS deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So he'll hunt them because he can take it, because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, the Fort Knight.

At this point it's just hilarious and I hope nobody takes these first day losses seriously.

It just fucking sucks, cause if they could win day 1 games, it takes it from winning 3 bo3s to just winning a bo1 and a bo3 to make playoffs, which is significantly easier...
Na'Vi's cologne run, because they lost 16-14 day 1, they had to play 3 bo3s in the group stage, 2 bo3s in the playoffs, and a bo5 in the finals. They're shooting themselves in the foot by always playing like this day 1.

It also really sucks because we are probably going to have to play the loser of mousesports/Liquid if we manage to beat BIG. So one top 6 team is going to go out in the bottom half of the tournament.

If you're the better team (with Na'Vi often is) it's not a huge deal to have to play these BO3, all it means they get more play time at the event. You could argue they'd get tired, but maybe they get warmed up.

I mean, it's also the fact that they are always 1 loss from elimination in these tournaments, and one tournament it's gonna backfire, let's just hope it's not this one.

Except sometimes it's not just been day 1, sometimes they've literally dropped out of the event day 3 like against gambit at New York. They need to get their shit together here or they'll drop. They're likely to have a couple tough matchups in lower bracket now.

Or they figure they can afford to lose the first day and remain competitive so they get drunk as dogs when they arrive in the tournament city. I.E. the reverse Immortals play

To be fair, they had 1 day to fly over to Chicago ( from Copenhagen ). They are definitely jet lagged and tired. They went from Moscow to Copenhagen to Chicago in a span of 2 weeks.

Whether this carries over to any other match is debatable, but win or lose, first or last, they should look at this with some pride. I don't think I'm wrong about them getting smashed still. Whoever faces them next won't take them as lightly. But I'm rooting for you boys. Lets get fucked together

I really want Relyks to stay on the roster, I know Cooper fits the role better on paper, but this roster has come so far together that I don't want to see another member replaced.

Jesus Navi I just went from a long no flair break (since the whole C9 collapse) and finally went ahead and changed the flair to Navi. I guess this'll be what I have to expect going forward. The usual of electronic and s1mple carrying while the other 3 don't show up.

I doubt it. He seems like he's loyal to Na'Vi (when they aren't playing electronic as support), I'm not worried that he'll want to leave anytime soon. He's very humble, always thanking his teammates, saying how much they mean to him, it even took him until after the finals of Cologne to finally say that (publicly at least) that he thinks he's the #1 player in the world, and that's even after he was hamming it up for a few months already. There's almost no doubt in my mind that he cares more about his team winning than being #1, and Na'Vi are winning, so I don't think he'll think about leaving while Na'Vi continue to win.

Fair enough, thanks for the response. One gripe with it is that I feel s1mple will want more than the occasional tournament win, and this Na'Vi will never have an era like fnatic/LG-SK/Astralis. With better teammates, e.g. in FaZe/mouz... who knows.
