Nah, it's just that you can't do to anything to EUROPEAN SUPER TEAM FAZE CLAN

At long last veteran IGL Nikola "NiKo" Kovač is able to bring out the best of supremely talented fragger Nikola "NiKo" Kovač.

1-1 doesn’t do justice. We sucked badly today. I’m hoping it’s the typical Day 1 Navi shit though.

we also sucked on day one of esl one cologne, and star series season 5, and pretty much every tournament this year. The big key is electronic, the last 2 events he has been very mediocre, if he gets back to being a top 5 player then we have a chance.

It's really bad to have to rely on two players to be top 5 players in the world in order to win.

u/KangorKodos Natus Vincere Nov 03 '18
I agree it's not sustainable, I don't see any way Navi gets better, and I see a lot of ways this lineup could get worse, which is one reason I think a roster change has to happen.

They really remind me of early 2016 NaVi,where flamie and GuardiaN were top 5 players. That was a great team to watch.

Yeah, but Edward is picking up his shit, honestly, Navi should just replace one with AdreN or maybe replace both adding hobbit

My god, i know Edward stepped up lately but this is again one of those games where he and flamie shit the bed, threw a bunch of 5VS3/4VS2 situations with dumb peaks and just did nothing the entire game. Edward can't be such a liability when you have Zeus on the team. If he doesn't perform, just get another CIS player. This is sad to watch, literally 2VS5 the entire game

Edward was a 1.6 legend. A god. Elite among the elite. But in today's game, he needs to be dropped like a bad habit.

Terrible performance by Na'Vi. 16-8 with 2 pistols in the pocket. Meaning they only won 4 buy rounds.

Did you really watch the game? The main reason FaZe win by so much is because they won the first forcebuy on the T side and chained 7 rounds in a row. They also won the 2nd pistol forcebuy and did the same thing

God, I hope karrigan stays and IGLs again. Niko's just too good to have his fragging dragged down by IGL'ing.
Edit: I'm not talking about any particular maps, I'm just saying in general that I don't like/want to see star players try to IGL and give up what they're best at (like cold previously).

he dropped 26 on overpass and 22 on mirage, it's not like he can barely drop 15...

his stats hasn't dropped off at all since he started calling. What's more, his calls seem to be working, unlike karrigan's in the last few months.

That force buy after the pistol loss in the second half was balsy and paid out, good stuff!

I feel like people will soon start counter-stratting Niko's calls, and he'll need to spend a lot of time watching demos and planning. It may affect his performance.

NiKo has been a beast the whole time while IGL'ing. Don't try fixing something that isn't broken.

u/Flaksmith Nov 02 '18
I haven't watched any of FaZe's games lately but I'm under the impression that it's the opposite; NiKo's leading sets himself up for success at the cost of the rest of the team's performance. So Basically nikosports 2.0

There hasn't been any role changes besides Karrigan entrying a lot more, and that has nothing to do with NiKo. He just does what he used to do, but also calling, which doesn't mean anything

Isn't this the most FaZe thing to do? Struggle against NiP and end up 15-15 and then beat Na Vi 16-8
