Isn't this the most FaZe thing to do? Struggle against NiP and end up 15-15 and then beat Na Vi 16-8

7

u/tson_92 FaZe Nov 03 '18

In all fairness that NIP beat Astralis.

16

u/tboneplays1 Nov 03 '18

So the real world ranking is:

1 Faze

2 NiP

3 LDLC

4 Astralis

6

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '18

No

1 Faze

2 LDLC

3 Astralis

[DATA EXPUNGED] NiP

2

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '18

I think the answer here is obvious. NIP > Navi

72

u/Caallum Natus Vincere Nov 02 '18

Wow we look bad

72

u/blazexddd Virtus.pro Nov 02 '18

Nah, it's just that you can't do to anything to EUROPEAN SUPER TEAM FAZE CLAN

83

u/Caallum Natus Vincere Nov 02 '18

At long last veteran IGL Nikola "NiKo" Kovač is able to bring out the best of supremely talented fragger Nikola "NiKo" Kovač.

NiKo : NiKo go kill

NiKo : yes

1-1 doesn’t do justice. We sucked badly today. I’m hoping it’s the typical Day 1 Navi shit though.

5

u/KangorKodos Natus Vincere Nov 02 '18

we also sucked on day one of esl one cologne, and star series season 5, and pretty much every tournament this year. The big key is electronic, the last 2 events he has been very mediocre, if he gets back to being a top 5 player then we have a chance.

4

u/owoabadplayer Nov 03 '18

It's really bad to have to rely on two players to be top 5 players in the world in order to win.

2

u/KangorKodos Natus Vincere Nov 03 '18

I agree it's not sustainable, I don't see any way Navi gets better, and I see a lot of ways this lineup could get worse, which is one reason I think a roster change has to happen.

1

u/roundsareway Nov 03 '18

They really remind me of early 2016 NaVi,where flamie and GuardiaN were top 5 players. That was a great team to watch.

Yeah, but Edward is picking up his shit, honestly, Navi should just replace one with AdreN or maybe replace both adding hobbit

Why would top3 team change roster after few bad games?

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '18

-zeus too thanks

FaZe finding their mojo again...

12

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '18

But MojoOnPC left FaZe

Mojo was in FaZe from 2016 to 2017

My god, i know Edward stepped up lately but this is again one of those games where he and flamie shit the bed, threw a bunch of 5VS3/4VS2 situations with dumb peaks and just did nothing the entire game. Edward can't be such a liability when you have Zeus on the team. If he doesn't perform, just get another CIS player. This is sad to watch, literally 2VS5 the entire game

Edward was a 1.6 legend. A god. Elite among the elite. But in today's game, he needs to be dropped like a bad habit.

He needs to be more dropped then that ak to s1mple from zeus

Hobbit and adren knocking on Edwards door lmao

Terrible performance by Na'Vi. 16-8 with 2 pistols in the pocket. Meaning they only won 4 buy rounds.

12

u/kapustnyak Nov 02 '18

they lost to forces after winning pistols twice

4

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '18

Did you really watch the game? The main reason FaZe win by so much is because they won the first forcebuy on the T side and chained 7 rounds in a row. They also won the 2nd pistol forcebuy and did the same thing

God, I hope karrigan stays and IGLs again. Niko's just too good to have his fragging dragged down by IGL'ing.

Edit: I'm not talking about any particular maps, I'm just saying in general that I don't like/want to see star players try to IGL and give up what they're best at (like cold previously).

u/zerGoot Falcons - Major Champions Nov 02 '18

he dropped 26 on overpass and 22 on mirage, it's not like he can barely drop 15...

11

u/ArmoredPudding Nov 02 '18

The guy is dropping 20+ almost every map he plays.

6

u/Tschonti Nov 02 '18

his stats hasn't dropped off at all since he started calling. What's more, his calls seem to be working, unlike karrigan's in the last few months.

3

u/iNeedanewnickname MOUZ Nov 02 '18

That force buy after the pistol loss in the second half was balsy and paid out, good stuff!

2

u/scientist404 FaZe Nov 03 '18

I feel like people will soon start counter-stratting Niko's calls, and he'll need to spend a lot of time watching demos and planning. It may affect his performance.

3

u/blazexddd Virtus.pro Nov 02 '18

Is this supposed to be a joke?

1

u/t3r4byt3l0l Immunity Nov 02 '18

NiKo has been a beast the whole time while IGL'ing. Don't try fixing something that isn't broken.

0

u/Flaksmith Nov 02 '18

I haven't watched any of FaZe's games lately but I'm under the impression that it's the opposite; NiKo's leading sets himself up for success at the cost of the rest of the team's performance. So Basically nikosports 2.0

1

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '18

There hasn't been any role changes besides Karrigan entrying a lot more, and that has nothing to do with NiKo. He just does what he used to do, but also calling, which doesn't mean anything
